Church Mutual Insuranc Co. has refused to renew their policy with Alabama Christian Youth Camp (Camp Ney-A-Ti). The reason as stated is excessive claims, specifically storm damage claim in 2009 of $67,000 and a theft loss in 2010 of $783. The Co. agent stated that they were not renewing policies that had wind damage claims in the last few years. We have insured with this company for over 25 years; most recently paying $1,000 per month in premiums for liability, workers comp. and property damage. We believe this company's Alabama license should be reviewed. Insuring with a new company is and will cost us an estimated $10,000 for membership & OSHA-type remedies.

My mother is covered by my policy. She has never had an accident to date. She rubbed bumpers with another lady. The total damage between both vehicles was $850. I called and asked if it would be better to have my mom pay out of pocket so my insurance rates wouldn't go up. I was told that I was a "Gold member" and that I had small accident forgiveness. 2 months later when my policy renewed it went up $34 a month due to the accident. When I called them to discuss this, I was told yes I was a gold member and that small accident forgiveness capped at $400....

After a horrible Hail storm, almost every house in our addition has a totalled roof. The houses surrounding our home, front side and back are totalled. We had a roofer come and estimate that ours was also totalled... along with other damages as well. The 1st adjuster came and stated in front of the roofer that the roof was totalled. When we received our check, it showed nothing for the roof and barely enough to cover some of the other damage, we asked for another adjustor, they arrived and said that Standard insurance required alot more hits on the roof and the hail must hit in the exact middle of the shingle and break a membrane in order to get a roof. Now, after paying for our policy for years, with no claims .... we are unable to sell our home, because it will not pass inspection, we are unable to go without a new roof, because we will end up with leaks and sheetrock damage, we are not able to do anything but report them to the Texas Board of Insurance. Just a fair warning to all who consider Standard Insurance... it's not worth the paper the policy is written on....

I work for an automobile dealership as an insurance enforcer on customers to keep their vehicles insured. We are the lienholders to over 1000 vehicles. The problem is that PROGRESSIVE is the only company that will not provide the lienholder with advance notice that the insurance coverage is going to cancel. We have experienced numerous losses and would like to voice our problem that is only with PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE. The lienholders should have the right to protect their interests as well as the insured. I have conversed with various managers with PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE about this lack of notification and their response is "Sue Us"...

I have been a loyal customer of GEICO for 6+years and it does not pay to be loyal. When I had my first ever accident I was told my premiums will not be increased and sure enough they were. Now I'm paying out the wazoo for 2 cars and not to mention my home. I'm working on finding a more suitable company. And yes, when my accident took place I was treated like a criminal!...

I am a workalcholic..I work in a auto factory and have had previous back issues and last july 2011 i put my back out, lower lumbar and chronic brusitus and pinched siotic nerve in my right leg, i continued working but went to therapy afterwork and to the chiropractor and my family physian, all reccomended i take off work to heal, so after a few weeks the pain became unbearable and i couldnt do my daily functions anymore (showering, getting dressed, sitting, standing, cleaning, etc..) so i then decided to take their advice and do the physical therapy and see the chiropractor til i get better and i can go back to work with limited pain...short term disability paid me very little but it was enough to cover my co-pays barely, so every week i was hasseling with CIGNA and sending doc reports and now even though i still have pain and cant stand for very long and physical therapy has done what they can and supplied me with a tens unit for home use and now im waiting to see a specialist to consult on my back issue, CIGNA has denied my claim and will not help me out with short term diability. i am still going to therapy but because i was released (therapist couldnt do no more for me) they said i was able to go back to work, even though i ...

the 5th of april 2012 at 852 n 74th street in east st louis il. 62203 lowes installed a wooden privacy fence, as well as a metal once, at my home, but there were many unjustified problems
1 the removal of evergreens in yard (3)destroyed .
2 the wooden fence was placed four feet from my property line.
3 the fence was 9 inches highter than the other side; however, this would cause the gate to be uneven. see photos !
4 it has taken four months for lowes to complete this project.
5 the manager Mr. Monroe stated because of our inconvenience that lowes would install a gate as well as reserving the driveway, it was filled with footprints from the guys that installed the fence (cement prints)this wasn't professsional at all.
6 I was told by the management to get a proposal for the fence and the driveway. see request! the total cost was $4,100.00 plus the $2,100.60 to complete this project ....... please complete

This is in reference to claim number #0251415923. On July 9th I was driving west-bound on Westend (Chicago). Your client Marcus Street was driving his grand-father's car south-bound on Pulaski at a rapid speed. He came to stop traffic during rush hour. Went around the stop traffic and drove through the parking lanes and rear-end my Ford Truck. I made a police report as the report will show he was driving reckless. Ms. Beverly Littleton contacted me on Tuesday, July 10th and recorded my statedment of what happened. When she turned off the recorded, the conversation continued and she implemented I turned in front of Marcus. She informed me she hasn't spoken with the person who was driving the car (Marcus Street), but she spoke with the policy-holder (his grand-father). I asked her shouldn't she had spoken with driver first, I informed her if I couldn't get a better assistance, I would take it further. By this time, she was upset and the conversation ended. July 11th she called me and informed me I was at fault, I repeatly informed her this person rear-ended me. I was already traveling west-bound on West End ave. 6 MONTHS AGO, I HIRED MY AUTO INSURANCE AND AFTER 1 MONTH I CANCELLED THE SERVICE, BECAUSE GEICO CALLED ME TO CHANGE THE PRICE BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T CALCULATE THE VALUES CORRECTLY. NOW, I GAVE THEM A SECOND CHANCE AND I HIRED AGAIN THE INSURANCE WITH THEM. GUESS WHAT? I'VE JUST RECEIVED A CALL TELLING ME THAT MY PRICE WILL INCREASE AGAIN, BECAUSE THEY, AGAIN, DIDN'T CALCULATE THE PRICE CORRECTLY. THAT IS RIDIIIIIIICULOS! State Farm delayed and denied my claim. The original adjuster (G. M.) verbally assured me that State Farm would pay for the following due to water damage from a fire in my condo that a renter caused:
1. A full pack out of the contents of my homeso repairs could be made
2. Allowable living expenses for the expenses of living in a hotel until repairs are complete.
3. Cleaning of furniture and clothes damaged from fire.
When the repairs were finally to begin (4 months after the fire) a new adjuster (called the "Readjuster") was given to my claim and all the above was DENIED!!!
State Farm was in collusion with the restoration company, ServPro and the condo management company, CAMCO.
I am presently in litigation with all 3 companies. The fire was on 3/27/11. This debacle has cost me $40,000 for a fire I did not cause. I also have condo insurance that covered all the above. State Farm has a history of denying claims. I didn't know that before I signed up with them 5 years ago. However, I know it now.
State Farm should NOT be allowed to insure anything in Pennsylvania....
