  • General - I feel abused by this company
my mom has dementia for four years and the insurance company called state farm has crossed the line by saying they got permission from her to escrow the ins,we paid with automatic payment all year which came to 867.00 dollars now the mortgage company sent state fram a check for 900.00 dollars that means we paid double for a year we have a refund check for 76.58 dollars i think that the vev tripp ins of eastpoint michigan state farm is doing croked things to our senoirs and some one has to stop them we need that escrow check that we usually get, so how can we make sure they dont do this anymore beacuse we never said they could but they lid and said they talked to my mom and theirs no way i have power of attorney and a joint bank account with my mom.... Contacted a Standard Health Ins. representative regarding a quotation.After asking alot of questions regarding co pays, deductables and varius coverages I was given a quote and was assured the policy would be exactly as stated.A copy of the policy would be sent once the premium was received.Sent in the premium and when we received the policy it was totally differant than what was discussed.Cancelled it immediately.The agreement was if not satisfied the total premium would be returned.After 45 days and alot of excuses I still have not received the premium due me. My 2005 Jaguar was stolen & recovered burned. I just bought this car not more than 6 months ago. The claim is being handled by SIU unit. I understand that this is a process but it has been over 30 days and still no resolution. I have cooperated as much as I am going to do, they will no longer give me a rental car but can't come up with an answer on the claim. This is my very first claim with state farm after being with them for 4 years, I also have my homeowners insurance, life insurance and car loan all with State Farm. I feel that they are treating me very unfairly, all they keep saying is this is not an easy car to steal.... Read More

My name is Samuel.I am insured with Personal Service Insurance through American Auto Insurance Company.I am the owner of a 2011 Ford F150 LXT pick-up truck that is fully customized in chrome.On 04-20-2013 while sitting at a traffic light,the wind lifted the fiberglass cover on the bed of the truck and slammed it down on the back right-side half of the truck.Starting at the top right hand side of the back of the truck, striking the top of the back door frame including the top of the back door. It also struck the back right hand side panel and the chrome wheel well cover on the right hand side of the truck as it knocked it off and damaging it.It like-wise hit the right side chrome center cap on the mag and damaged it. It also hit and cracked the chrome cover on the right side back break light. The only body damage that was include in the appraisal on 04-23-2013 at my house was the right back fender but not the chrome wheel well cover.I have called the insurance company more times than I can remember to send the appraiser back out to include the damage that even a dummy can tell the damage was done by the incident.The insurance company contacted me once early on in May of 2013 and asked me for the name of the body shop but made no ar... On Friday after noon I called state farm office and they were closed. my call was transfer, I spoke to one of the employee, than I was transfer again to another employee. I gave her my account number my address. my name. this was not good enough, she started to ask very personal questions, what was my birthday how tall I was also she wanted my bank account number all this time she kept on saying I'm trying to verify who you are?.The reason I called State Farm was to fine out when my next payment was do. my first mistake was going through an insurance broker. I have absolutely no problem with the brokerage firm other than the fact that they tell you one thing yet the actual insurance company itself being Unique Insurance,loc: 4245 N.Knox, Chgo-60641&(773)299-7500 is their telephone number however you'll never get anybody on the phone much less a call back from your voicemail msgs left. My car accident occurred on Dec.3rd,2013 and they are my insurance company- & the party that had hit my car, hot& ran. Therefore I am left to deal with my own insurance company. believe it or not I purchased my vehicle on Nov.19th,2013 & then obtained insurance on my vehicle on Nov.29,2013. On a vehicle of this age of 10 years I usually go with liability insurance,however once hearing the Kelley Blue Book value from my sales rep. I opted to go with full coverage & enticed my fiance to do the same because he was due for car insurance as well. As luck had it,my accident occurred on Dec.3,2013 & the person who struck me left me there hurt for dead and who knows. Their referral process is in place just so the patient doesn't go to specialists!!!! I had surgery, the first referral expired in December, 2013. The scar did not heal well and the specialist needs to evaluate me again. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET the second referral. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to get somebody alive to call back the primary care doctor, who is the one trying to get the referral. When the PCP calls for help to the EMBLEM HEALTH provider line he is put on eternal hold. There is no way to get in touch with the so call EXECUTIVES of the Board of Directors of EMBLEM HEALTH. ROAD DEBRIS STRUCK MY VEHICLE AT THE C. WILLIAM HETZER CONSTRUCTION SITE AT RTS 63 AND I 70 OUTSIDE OF WILLIAMSPORT, MARYLAND. IT RUINED MY TIRE AND I HAD TO USE MY INSURANCE CO. ROADSIDE ASSIST. TO PUT ME BACK ON THE ROAD, WHICH TOOK ME APPROX. 2 HOURS TO RETURN TO THE SCENE OF THE CRIME. LOW AND BEHOLD, THE HETZER EMPLOYEES COULD NOT FIND THE DEBRIS ON THE ROADSIDE AND THE ROAD WAS SO CLEAN YOU COULD OF ATE OFF OF IT. TRAVELERS INS. SAID THEY WERE NOT LIABLE FOR MY DAMAGES AFTER THEIR INVESTIGATION, WHICH I ASSUME WAS A PHONE CALL TO THE JOBSITE AND WAS TOLD THAT THE DEBRIS HAD WALKED OFF THE ROADWAY BEFORE THEY COULD RETREIVE IT. HA.HA. STORY TO CONTINUE. NOT DONE YET. LOCATED RESIDENCE OF INS. INVESTIGATOR,INS. COMPANYS AGENT LOCAL AND INS. MAIN OFFICE. WAS TOLD BY LAWYER TO SUE IN COURT. I CONTACTED HIGHWAY ADMIN.
