Insurance Complaint against: 21st Century

I was filling out those annoying surveys on the PC, then I got a call from 21st Century Insurance. They wanted to beat my rate of my Allstate policy. I said I didn't want to go through the hassle. They said no problem, they can look up my Allstate policy. Which they did. Then they said they could give me a cheaper rate, and save 20-25 dollars a month. I said I hate filling out paper work! They said no problem, they would send the paperwork, and all I have to do is sign. So I went ahead, signed, returned the papers, and given time to cancel my Allstate. Well the day I sent my cancelation notice to Allstate, I had gotten a letter from 21st Century saying after reviewing my application, they realized I rented my apartment and I dont own my home. As a result of this information, it was necessary to ajust my premium! The amount of additional premium is $52.17, $25.00 more than I was paying Allstate!!! So now it is labor day weekend, my Allstate is good till Sept. 5th, and it will be cancelled! So I hurried up to uncancell my policy, which looks like I have to be rewritten, and I might not be able to get the Allstate Insurance policy back due to Issac storm which went through and they might not be able to write me a new All... Insurance Complaint against: Bankers Life & Casualty Company

  • General - I feel abused by this company
Since May I have had 9 Bankers Life/Colonial Penn Representatives call me regarding Medicare Supplemental Ins. I saw the first 2 people because the first one said they were with Colonial Penn and the second one said they were from Bankers Life. The second one had his card and it also said Colonial Penn and I asked and they said it was the same company. I told him I already saw a lady from Colonial Penn. I have since received 6 other reps from Bankers Life call me and I keep telling them I already took care of supplemental ins with someone else. Of course they ask with who and I told them it was none of their business. After the 6th person I told them I would file a formal complaint with the Insurance Commissioner and Medicare if they did not stop calling. I told them to take my name and number off their list. They won't stop calling me. Calls are coming from Sarasota, Tampa and Lakeland. Why Sarasota?? I live in Lakeland. I am getting really tired of getting this company calling me. I want they to stop calling me and take me off their list. All the other companies that have called and told them I already have ins and they were ok with that and have not called me back. While entering the intersection of Parker Road and Main St, I had to break for a police car crossing in front of me. I was rear ended by a driver covered by Allstate Insurance. The police soon charged the Allstate driver with careless driving. Multiple calls over multiple years to Allstate and they have consistently refused to repair the damage. I sense they find their refusal to meet their obligations funny. I certainly don't. Now they just don't return calls. Just beware here, whether what they have done, are doing, is legal I have no idea, but if this is their definition of good hands, I strongly recommend you stay clear of them. Bob Tapscott... My car was parked at a private residence,as I was working at the residence.A neighbor hit car and damage was incurred.Direct Insurance Co. was the company the man was covered by.In my opinion this company is nothing short of the "Mafia".They seem to be above the law or else have the law paid off.Damage to my car was $1200 to $1300.I checked to see value of my car on Kelly Blue Book.They informed me they do not use that as a guide to value.No sir they do what they want!!Rude does not begin to describe treatment and disrespect I indured from these people.A lady (which is not a word to describe her),name of Trish was so cruel.To make a long story short, all I will recieve for damages,not of my making,is a whopping$135,yep,and get a load of this,they would not accept my estimates from 2 reputable companies.Only theirs.Now if we allow a big insurance co. to get by with this,what next?Its time a little person as myself who has a cleaning business and no my car is not new and has alot of miles on it but,that isn't the point.All I expected was to be treated fairly,I was not trying to rip them off but,I in turn got the worse treatment of my life.Tell the world do not use Direct Insurance,I am telling everyone!!I would pay double for insura... I have PORAC Anthem Blue Cross PPO 90-10. My son broke his wrist snowboarding in March. We took him to our local urgent care instead of the hospital emergency room. I felt like an imate waiting for sentencing. I did not recieve a rental and I pay for that service. I was told that my care is a parasite. I was haggled. The adjusters act as if they are getting paid some of the deductable. The adjusters are working with there shops to get them money even if they are not sure or cannot repair the issues.... Read More

I have been involved in the personal injury end of auto insurance for the past 13 years. I have to say, beyond a shadow of doubt, that American Family is absolutely the worst possible insurance company anyone could have to protect themselves and their loved ones as far as car insurance goes. In the most recent instance, Lori (the adjuster) and her supervisor (Minh) are not only rude, ignorant, arrogant and non-cooperative, but when they try one stalling tactic that doesnt pan out properly they move forward with another. I just had the displeasure of speaking with Minh and she treated me like I was a child. She would give me no information on the status of the 5 month delayed claim and told me, the treating physician to whom the money is owed, that I would need to speak with the attorney. They made the patient undergo an adverse examination (which the doc said the patient needed care to a certain date) and then have continued to deny payment for services rendered. This has happened on at least 100 patients in the past year and a half and has gotten to the point where we are strongly advise ALL clients to stay away from American Family.... Read More

I have had Traveler's insurance for my home and car for over 23 years. I just got a new bill -- they raised my rate over $600 per year (my new rate is $823 per 1/2 year; my rate 6 months ago was $515 per half year). What was their excuse? -- A speeding ticket last year -- which was a little over 10 miles per hour. Since when do speeding tickets affect insurance rates? Especially when my rate is maybe, at best, 1 every 3 years. I have had no accidents or claims for years. First of all, my occasional speeding should have nothing to do with my insurance rate. I could understand car accidents, but I made no claims for years. I have turned from 70 to 71 in January. While the ostensible reason is a traffic ticket (which has never affected my insurance in years past), it is basically age discrimination.... Read More

our home in muskegon michigon was insurance with frammer insurance. we could not take all the things with us on the truck so we lock the grarage and no one had a keys they brought in. our things was taken. but 1. mr tony william sold a policy too us and did not tell us it did not have thef on it. it was not until it was broken in too and now we have not been paid and now. they have 3 claim on our file and we cant get 1462albert ave muskegon mi insurance. because of frammer this has been going on for all most a years with them. we can keepthem because we cant trust them. with the home in mi. 7193922275 0r 7192001702.... I CHANGED OWNERSHIP FROM MY TRUST TO A CO-TRUST WITH MY WIFE. MY OTHER INSURANCE COMPANY, NEW YORK LIFE COME TO MY HOME AND MADE THE CHANGES AND WE SIGNED THE FORMS. HE THEN SAID IT WAS NECESSARY TO CHANGE THE BENEFICIARY. I NOTIFIED W & S AND THEY SENT A FORM.
