On march 4 /2014 a Allstate client hit my cars parked in the parking lot of my apartment we call the police and I field a claim with Allstate after one week trying to speak with the adjuster she just answer me after I told a to someone on her office the a going to get a lawyer .she was rude and say she couldn't done anything for me before she heard the guy that hit my cars , I send her the police report showing that was his fault she just told that she have 30days to finish her investigation and the guy didn't. Answer his phone..so I still without my car and my husband is lost few constructions job because his car was total loss..allstate is the worse company...... Read More

It is not just Allstate. In FL, a company cannot pay a claim without speaking with their insured. If their insured is not cooperating, you will have to either file against your insurance, if you have collision coverage, or take the other person to court. There is no statutary time frame to pay a claim.

state farm cant tell me if the woman that hit my car had insurance at the time of acciedent. it happened on jan. 24 and it is march 5 . have had one return call that is it called them at least 3 times a week . i had state farm also .changed insurance company. how long does it take to find out if she had insurance? the woman handling case is never in her office.... I was sideswiped on the freeway by a person insured by progressive. A police report clearly states that the other person caused the accident by making a unsafe lane change. I was in the fast lane of the freeway and the other person entered the freeway from a side street and instead of staying in the slow lane he continued into the fast lane and side swiped my truck and Progressive is not excepting the police report and is stone walling me ands giving me the run around. It has been since the 10th of Feb and still no decision by progressive even tho they have the police report. I will never be a member of progressive or refer them to anyone.... Read More

This is a review for Geico and Stillwater Insurance Co. I switched my home and auto insurance from a local company to Geico because they were about $1800 cheaper a year than I was previously paying. On my homeowners insurance I had additional coverage for several pieces of scheduled jewelry. When I was reviewing my policy with the Geico agent I was told the coverage was the same as I had before. I even sent them my current policy to compare their information to. All seemed in line, and I purchased the policy. In December I had a break in at my home and about $36k worth of jewelry was stollen. I just received a letter from Stillwater stating that they do not pay the insured amount, but lowest amount they can find the item for. My $28k family heirloom bracelet is now being "replaced" for $17k. I would've never agreed to this type of coverage if I would've known that they do not pay the insured amount. I also found out that my policy only covers $1500 on watches, jewelry, and guns. Anything else is up to $250k, so all of my other jewelry that was stolen will not be replaced.... Read More

You may not want to agree to those values. If they are offering you $17k then it seems you have the coverage. Check out your policy's APPRAISAL CLAUSE. Jewelry typically APPRECIATES not depreciates. Thomas Di Sieno, Digitory Solutions, Inc.

After 40 years with State Farm for our home and autos, they refuse to renew our homeowners insurance because we filed a claim for the last three years in a row. 40 years with them obviously means nothing. The amount paid to us for the claims is no where near what we've paid in premiums for the past 40 years. We were under the impression that the reason for paying premiums and having insurance was so the company would take care of you when there was a problem. I have several complaints with Progressive Insurance Co. It started at the end of May 2013. I was in an accident were I was hit from behind and I hit the car in front of me and that car hit the next car. The person who hit me left the scene. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital meanwhile the police did a report and never noticed that there was damage to the rear of my car so I was written up as "at fault". The insurance co is saying that there was not enough damage to my rear bumper warrant a claim on my part...Then in Oct 2013 a pallet came off the back of a truck and struck my car. My wife was driving. They also are refusing that claim. I looked online and found that I was changed from married to single and my wife was no longer on the policy. I made the correction online and my premium dropped quit a bit...Well the correction did not stay they took it back off as if I wasn't married at all and my wife was no longer on the policy again. I said to them over the phone "why did you take my wife off the policy?" and the reply was "she never was on the policy". Capital Insurance-Northern Region Bakersfield, Ca I own a condo and know know why people hate working with condo associations when any kind of problem/or injury occurs! This should have been slam-dunk covered… I pay for my dog on a yearly basis and we have a dog area in the back-yard common area of our condo. We are expected to use the doggie-doo bags out back at all times. Our back area was “very” dark and they have sprinklers in the walkway of the common area (supposed to be leval with the walkway). Very early one morning my dog had to go out and go potty... It was very dark that particular evening and I was trying to hurry. My foot hit a broken sprinkler/or pipe (near the doggie bag station) and I flew to the ground. It was so dark I couldn’t see the broken pipe until I was on the ground. I hit very hard! After thousands of dollars of medical bills CIGNA insurance has done everything to make me go away. After turning in an insurance release… they stated I didn’t… I called the hospital and they had my release. I was hit by their client. She admitted hitting me. I had minor injuries. My car 2012 ford feista . Had it a few months. It took the police a week to give me the name of her insurance.mean while my car is in the tow yard at 40 dollars a day. I cant afford to her it out.I called to file a claim and told what happen. They rrefuse to pay because I wouldnt give them a recorded statement . I had gave a unrecorded statement. Now it cost over a 1000.. Dollars to get my car out. They refuse to pay. Can anyone help me.
