We did not see listing for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield of New York. My mother Harriett is covered under Mediblue Plus HMO for 4 years now (a Medicare contract provider). The company just REFUSES to address our need, despite 2 emails to their site and 2 very LONG phone calls to fix what ought to be a simple issue: changing her primary care physician on her 2014 ID card. So far they have mailed us 2 cards with a dr.'s name from 5 years ago and cannot seem to fix the error, making it worse by ignoring us now. This will have very negative implications in 2014 when my mother who is elderly and has multiple medical problems needs care and the card she has will be rejected by her PCP and other providers because it is wrong!
Clearly, they have incompetent customer service providers, a terrible web site where the need to fix the error and get some answer even is just ignored day after day. This means something VERY IMPORTANT TO US BOTH, and despite our efforts, nothing is getting done. We cannot even get our home phone updated or change our personal info. on the web site. They clearly do not spend any money on their IT department.

I am in a wheelchair and live in a mobel home. On December 8th, 2013 I went into my utility room to let my dog out my front wheel on my chair almost went through the floor. Back in September I had found water on my utility room floor so I called the water softer company because it looked like that was the problem to me. They came out said yes fixed it and charged me $290. I thought problem fixed. My bedroom is on the other side of that wall the water softer is in and had been leaking and I was not aware of that until my girl friend went to move Christmas presents that afternoon on that side of the bed they were soaking wet. My box spring and mattress sets on the floor so it does not move and is easy for me to tranfer from my chair to the bed, it was soaked as well. I can not get my chair on that side of the bed so I did not know it was wet. She discovered that side was soaked with water and the night stand has mold on it the carpet and floor in the bedroom and utility room is ruined. My bedroom smells like a mushroom from the mold, even the box springs had soaked up water. We took pictures and filed a claim. Adjustor claims that hell damage was not in the range of policy written and there was pre exsisting damage. The vehical was inspected by one of agents workers and the vehical was in good condition with no damages, so the policy was written. They are not going to pay the claim because some one got the wrong information.Date of policy 05/05/2013,date of damage 05/16/20013....

HI.In spite that my soon Erik is in Poland they added him to my policy.They want profe of other policy where is Erik added.They incrase my monthly payment from $280 to $650 and they telling me that incrased policy only $1100.for 6 month.People after college have no ability to mathematic.How stupid they can be.This is shock for me.My son comback in March 2014 and I wanna switch to cheaper provider not this asholds.

AARP and new york refuses to return my $ 4,431.36 I paid into my life insurance. I contacted BBB/ Indiana department of insurance in Indianapolis 317-232-2385 . report number 71619. They said stems from limitation ,what ever this means. They cannot help me either. In 8 years New york never sent me a statement and now they break it down as a percentage. I cannot afford a lawyer they want a percentage. I need to make my own arrangements while i am still alive .
New York and AARP refuse to work with the insurance department and they say I should keep paying my insurance $ $ 92.32 X 12 month = $ 1,107.84 X 4 years is $ 4,431.36. What are Indiana senior to do when they are trying to take the burdens from the love ones. We like to make our arrangements and pay on this arrangements in advance. The new york life insurance co never sends a statement to the insurer, this is not good practice for seniors.
I hope we can pass a law to protect us from all insurance co doing business in Indiana and give IDOI more control. They did all they could I guess. I need the total amount paid in advance and add save for the balance for my burial arrangements .

The Insurance that my complaint is on repairs to my car. This Insurance was purchased by the loan thru Wells Fargo Dealers Services. I was having trouble with the brakes making grinding and they were pulling, also the car was leaning or sitting lower to the ground than it should. This was supposed to be covered by the Insurance Co. The Adjuster came and looked at the car on the hoist, he said that yes the brakes, drum and brake line, plus the ball joints, struts and something else did new service, but his company only would repair them if the fluid from them was leaking like a faucet. We could only pay to repair the struts. The others still need to be repaired. We have a service card that we used to pay for it, but we have to pay the breaks off before we can get any of the other repaired. This could mean our life! With winter here we can only drive the car. The Insurance Company should have repaired those things! What good is the Insurance if they take care of nothing! But we still are paying for it!!!!...

I recently moved from CA to ID and ordered insurance from Foremost Insurance Group. I had their insurance for 10 days until I found better coverage at almost half the cost from the Hartford Co. Foremost charged me $102 for 10 days of home owner insurance after canceling. I sold my house in CA for 4 times what I paid for my new home yet Foremost charged me $623 for 1 year service. I call this overcharging/gouging....

Hi Christopher, I am sorry to tell you, but this type of claim is generally denied. Your policy will clearly state that this type of a claim is not covered. Normally, for a water loss to be covered, it must meet the following criteria: 1. Originate from within the confines of the dwelling 2. Occur from a sudden and accidental burst of water 3.
