I recently experienced an accident at my home in which the down stairs toilet overflowed during the night causing a flood to about 90% of the 1st floor of my house. My wife and I imediately tried to contact our Homeowners Insurance Company(RESIDENCE MUTUAL/WESTERN MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY). I had begun using my shop vacum to try and clean up the water. Being it was a Sunday, we got no one live on the phone only automated recordings. We then contacted a damage control company to begin working on drying out the the house to avoid any further damage. The company did come and began working to dry the house out including assessing and taking pictures of all the damage including infa red. The insurance company did contact me the following day and I explained to the adjuster John McLaughlin what happened. He was not very cordial to me from the start,stating I should not have hired that company to do the damage control because he had his own people he wished to bring in and do all the work. He stated to me to not allow the damage control company do any thing else to the house until he had someone assess the damage to the house. Dear Sir:
I need your assistance with my claim #2012-00120599 against Juan Miguel Natividad cover by Esurance on November 19th 2012.
The guilty driver was texting and crash my Olds parked on the street in fron of my house. Since then, I called Esurance in various occasions, wrote to them and Juan MIguel Natividad and the only respond was a letter and a phone call in which they repeat that they are waiting a police report from Miami Beach Police Department. Why the delay.
I have to go to school in a bus, I cannot dispose or repair my car.
Please, help me...

My last two payment was made to my policy and Geico claim they where not,I corrected that, So I thought!!,Now they claim that my payment for Jan.17.2013 was not made after they assure me that the payment was made!!!!,???,,on the 17th of Jan.when I spoke to a represenitive on that day.On the 26.2013 I received a Letter, stating that I been cancel as of the 23rd of Jan.2013.and I must give them $195.00,,(WHAT)..I say this a second time,WHAT..i NEED HELP DEALING this Company.....

On Wed. 01/09/2013 my car was hit by a Sentry Insured Driver who was given a ticket for failure to yield at red light. I spent 3 days trying to call this insurance company and getting only their machines with no call back. On the 4th day the adjuster answered her phone. I did all the work by gathering everything she needed to do her job. I gave a statement and waited 2 weeks for a answer. Well, I received the copy of the
estimate that I had my body shop fax to this company in the mail on Fri 01/25/2013. No letter from the company
explaining anything only this handwritten sentence. (THE FILE IS NOT OK TO PAY) This is the most unprofessional treatment I have ever experienced in my 34 years of dealing with auto insurance companies....

Found they are charging from day one (More then 9 Years) a monthly fee of $59.95 for their affiliated Company called;
Southern Compliance.
Asked them, why I have to be member of this Group and was told;
You get additional Coverage for Accidental & Hospital Benefit.
To get better Premium, must be a member of this Group.
I was never told by signing Agent, about this Membership.
Please confirm, is this allowed under state of florida, Insurance Policy, that person must be member of affiliated Company?
I am sure, they must be collecting from all other Policy Holder and may not be aware of.
Please advise me, what should I do?
I do not want to have my Policy Cancelled or rate to be increased....

My wife as Blue Medicare RX and I have Medicare PPO Blue with Rx My wife has had a kidney transplant and takes Rapamune 1 mg daily as a immunosuppressant. Her policy lists Rapamune as a Tier 5 drug with a cost of $375.00 for a 90 day supply. My policy lists the same drug Rapamune 1mg as a tier 3 drug with a cost of $90.00 for a 90 day supply. I pay less for my policy than she does. How can the same company list the same drug under different tiers...

I have had Farmers insurance for quite a number of years. I have always had a discount for military and they used to give a discount for a drivers ed program.
I called my agent and found out that now they don't give a discount for drivers ed anymore. I also saw on the news the other day when the golfer that didn't like his taxes going up was talking and behind him was the large banner for farmers insurance sponsering the golf tormament. Now they can sponser these things for the golfers but can't give common people discounts for military or driver ed programs. Well I guess time
for me to find another insurance company. I hate to do this but I will not pay higher rates to sponser golf games...

I am trying to purchase a house on the beach. This house has been in tact and standing for over 90 years. Florida Family Insurance refused to cover my home because their policy only went one year earlier, and they said that pictures with shadows were actually mold and mildew, which is as I just stated, shadows.
