I got a letter stating that my insurance would not be renewed in accordance with the terms and conditions of your policy and the laws of your state. (I was not aware of these conditions) I called my agent and was told that I had 3 claims within 5 years and they would file an appeal but, said they had never had one overturned. I feel like it,s a fraud for insurance company,s to take peoples money and, all of the sudden decide that we have charged in premiums 10,000 and spent 3,000 in claims we should drop them. (SO LIKE A GOOD NEIGHBOR STATE FARM IS NOT THERE) Also there was no negotiation on state farms part between me and the main company. I was not my fault, I had storm damage and a theft where my home was broken into. I don,t feel like I should be punished from mother nature and theives.... Read More

I had to renew my insurance in November 2012 for a better price.I had to have a fr 44 on it for 3 years.I went to renew my insurance and I was told I know longer needed the fr 44.I was right in front of my agent when he spoke to the agency.They said, I do not need it.I then put down a down payment and thinking it was all good.I then received a letter from Tallahassee stating my vin # was wrong and I need to carry the fr 44 still.I called my agent up asap at my mail box.He told me that Progressive said. I did not need it and he will take care of it.I tried calling for 2 weeks and NO answer.I found out that they looked at the arrest date not the conviction date.Tallahassee said, he is at fault and so did my new agent which is a lot more professional.My licence had gotten suspended and I had to reinstate it.150$$$$$$ that, I did not have.I`m disabled and can barely afford my bills and I have son and wife that, now we are suffering for this abuse.My agent at the time was Aargo Ins.His name is MATT and his phone# is 954-357-2723 which is always full and dose not answer.I really can use the 150$$$$ for food and ETC!!! My son was in our car waiting to exit a parking lot. There was a car in front of him waiting to exit onto the street. While sitting there waiting a car backed out of a parking spot and his vehicle. Ohio Casualty , a part of this company would only reimburse 70% of the damage. The agents for them in Fairfield Ohio said if my son would have moved his vehicle then their insured motorist would not have hit him. The waited over 90 days to come up with this ridiculous settlement and offered $900 on a $1600 claim. The agents do not return calls and try to avoid answering any questions. I have a real beef with American United Life, (part of One America in Indianapolis, IN)! My father died 12/17/12. He had several life insurance policies. This one with AUL was through his work at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I filed the claim through the HR dept of Texas Tech as instructed. I got a letter from AUL confirming receipt of the claim on 1/9/13. The letter was addressed "To the guardian of.." which I found odd as I am 46 years old. I phoned the next day. Was told birth date was wrong, Texas Tech corrected that same day. I called two days later and was told that despite the claims handler advising to pay the claim, because the amount was so large, the Vice President of the company had to approve. I call the next day and then was told that the claim was in "legal" because the death certificate listed my father as married and Texas is a community property state. My father married the wife in question only 8 months before he died and Texas has a rule called Inception of title that states the policy was his SEPARATE property because he bought it DECADES before he met the new wifey. I wait two more weeks and get Texas Tech involved and they state they will have the broker who sold the group policy look into i... Read More

Buy a car at auction and wait for 7 years and don't pay them. Most car dealers will for give you for bad credit but you have to pay a large down payment otherwise buy from private owner for an auction.

I had look insurance thur arrowhead QBE ,Had an acccident they did nothing. I sumitted the hospital bill to my insurance, look as well as my step dad insurance farm burual Jeff Brant Agency. I fax and brought in info about my insurance, she contiuned to call and harass my mom about me, I have seperate insurance .they neither comppany paid the eighthundered dollar hospital bill . This is my FIRST claim against ANY Insurance company and my CLASSIC JAGUAR was sitting on the side of the road and WAS side swiped while I was sleeping. When I discovered the damages, it appears the same person stopped to investigate the damages and then RIPPED MY JAGUAR EMBLEM OFF THE HOOD TOO, while punching his fist into the hood, causing further damages! My car needs repairs AND a paint job to restore it to it's ORIGINAL condition! PROGRESSIVE spent 15-minutes looking at my car, typed into their computer and handed me a check for $500...as I have a $500 deductible!!! My first estimate was for $2,600 and included the paint job, yes, there were a few scratches on the part of the car that WASN'T damaged but if there are going to paint it to match WHAT'S THE PROBLEM!! They are replacing with used parts and will have to paint the fender, and hood so won't they have to paint the whole car to match the colors??? They also allowed me $138 for a RED fender from a scrap yard...MY CAR IS WHITE...I had THREE estimates for over $400 for the same part...IN WHITE!!! I haven't cashed the check and have been speaking with a Supervisor IN FLORIDA...she says there was RUST in the scratches and around the holes were the Jaguar emblem WAS...... Read More

Upon a renewal notice from OLYMPUS INSURANCE CO. OF COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA, Located at 7380 W. Sand Lake Rd. Orlando Fl.(of which there is no selection in the pull down menu above) I recieved a premium increase of 60% from the previous year in which I suspect is beyond the legal limits of the states (Florida)limitations. I have had ZERO claims since living in Florida since 1994 and have been with this insurance co. since 2009. I cannot believe that this is even possible for an insurance company in a regulated industry to be able to conciously do this, especially in Florida where we are paying rediculous premiums to begin with. Per this renewal offer, I have nothig else to say about this Insurance Co. except that they are attempting to rip-off any Floridian that will pay thier price without question. My only hope is that the regulators in this state will come to thier senses and crack down on these shady companies before its too late for the citizens of this state to get ANY decent coverage.... I had a Travelers policy for rental which is umbrelled under Geico. I received a renewal statement with additional late fees for 3 months, SUPPOSEDLY, from last year when I renewed via phone, spoke to a rep, paid for the year ... everything was fine, NOW, according to Travelers a year later, I was 3 months late in renewing???? If so, how come I was not charged back then? To fraudulently add on additional amounts is absolutely egregious. I called three times, first two prople were not licensed agents!!!! but a phone flunkies ... nothing could be done, and NO they could explain their actions ... so I cancelled the insurance! How low does a company go to eek out money, and doing so against a senior citizen on a fixed income!... Read More
