This is my FIRST claim against ANY Insurance company and my CLASSIC JAGUAR was sitting on the side of the road and WAS side swiped while I was sleeping. When I discovered the damages, it appears the same person stopped to investigate the damages and then RIPPED MY JAGUAR EMBLEM OFF THE HOOD TOO, while punching his fist into the hood, causing further damages! My car needs repairs AND a paint job to restore it to it's ORIGINAL condition! PROGRESSIVE spent 15-minutes looking at my car, typed into their computer and handed me a check for $500...as I have a $500 deductible!!! My first estimate was for $2,600 and included the paint job, yes, there were a few scratches on the part of the car that WASN'T damaged but if there are going to paint it to match WHAT'S THE PROBLEM!! They are replacing with used parts and will have to paint the fender, and hood so won't they have to paint the whole car to match the colors??? They also allowed me $138 for a RED fender from a scrap yard...MY CAR IS WHITE...I had THREE estimates for over $400 for the same part...IN WHITE!!! I haven't cashed the check and have been speaking with a Supervisor IN FLORIDA...she says there was RUST in the scratches and around the holes were the Jaguar emblem WAS...... Read More

Upon a renewal notice from OLYMPUS INSURANCE CO. OF COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA, Located at 7380 W. Sand Lake Rd. Orlando Fl.(of which there is no selection in the pull down menu above) I recieved a premium increase of 60% from the previous year in which I suspect is beyond the legal limits of the states (Florida)limitations. I have had ZERO claims since living in Florida since 1994 and have been with this insurance co. since 2009. I cannot believe that this is even possible for an insurance company in a regulated industry to be able to conciously do this, especially in Florida where we are paying rediculous premiums to begin with. Per this renewal offer, I have nothig else to say about this Insurance Co. except that they are attempting to rip-off any Floridian that will pay thier price without question. My only hope is that the regulators in this state will come to thier senses and crack down on these shady companies before its too late for the citizens of this state to get ANY decent coverage.... I had a Travelers policy for rental which is umbrelled under Geico. I received a renewal statement with additional late fees for 3 months, SUPPOSEDLY, from last year when I renewed via phone, spoke to a rep, paid for the year ... everything was fine, NOW, according to Travelers a year later, I was 3 months late in renewing???? If so, how come I was not charged back then? To fraudulently add on additional amounts is absolutely egregious. I called three times, first two prople were not licensed agents!!!! but a phone flunkies ... nothing could be done, and NO they could explain their actions ... so I cancelled the insurance! How low does a company go to eek out money, and doing so against a senior citizen on a fixed income!... Read More

My car wa in an accident, in Nov/2012. The insurance had it fixed, but whwn I received it a few weeks after it rained. My left head light recieved residue inside the light. They denied the claim. They said the accident was on the front left side, not the right. But the from bumper was replaced, left light, and left fender. I call Untrin, about the right light and was told to take it to the shop. After two days they denied the claim. I had to pay for the the labor and light to be replaced. This was a part of the claim number 500776033. The manager stated that Toyota had trouble wit tose old big lights in their cars. We will not pay for it. Cancellation letter I had homeowners insurance with American Family Ins. Co for nearly 50 years and only turned in one claim. A hail storm damaged my roof. They refused to pay for the damage and then cancelled my insurance because my roof was damaged and I didn't get it fixed in the middle of winter with 18 inches of snow on it. On July 3,2012 an adjuster for American Family Ins Co. came to my house to evaluate hail damage to my property. The adjuster agreed that there was hail damage and agreed to replace the roof and metal on the house. However he claimed that the hail storm did not damage an adjacent carport or detached garage. Three different contractors said that there was visual evidence of damage to both of these structures so I did not settle with American Family at that time. Over the next four or five months I talked to my agent, sent correspondence to other people in the American Family organization, and finally initiated their version of arbitration. In this arbitration I paid for a disinterested independent contractor to come and do an inspection and estimate of repairs. American Family also sent their person to do the same. Our home was subject to severe storms back in Febuary 2011. A tree came crashing down upon our home causing structural damage and a severe leak. The Insurance company gave ue a trevial amount of money to fix it. The roof is still not repaired to this day. Have contacted our agent to conduct a "WIND MITIGATION". The name of our Insurance carrier is Security First Insurance out of Sunrise Florida. We purchased the insurance through Farm Bureau Insurance some years back and had never filed a claim even after Hurricane Ivan. Our Premiums have been sky rocketing over the past 4 years. Now up to close to 3000.00 per year. We want help now and am proceding to proclaim Legal Action against in the form of a "Law Suit" to get our roof replaced. Need help... I recently experienced an accident at my home in which the down stairs toilet overflowed during the night causing a flood to about 90% of the 1st floor of my house. My wife and I imediately tried to contact our Homeowners Insurance Company(RESIDENCE MUTUAL/WESTERN MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY). I had begun using my shop vacum to try and clean up the water. Being it was a Sunday, we got no one live on the phone only automated recordings. We then contacted a damage control company to begin working on drying out the the house to avoid any further damage. The company did come and began working to dry the house out including assessing and taking pictures of all the damage including infa red. The insurance company did contact me the following day and I explained to the adjuster John McLaughlin what happened. He was not very cordial to me from the start,stating I should not have hired that company to do the damage control because he had his own people he wished to bring in and do all the work. He stated to me to not allow the damage control company do any thing else to the house until he had someone assess the damage to the house. Dear Sir: I need your assistance with my claim #2012-00120599 against Juan Miguel Natividad cover by Esurance on November 19th 2012. The guilty driver was texting and crash my Olds parked on the street in fron of my house.
