I am a mental health provider who has in good faith seen a patinet and it is verified that his insurance covers my services; however, the insurance company has failed to pay this claim which was submitted back in July, and re-submitted several times since then. They stated I had an incorrect diagnostic code on the form and it was corrected an re-submitted several times, with no response from them. Today I spent over a half an hour on the phone with them, and they are still denying the claim, stating the copy is not clear enough to read. I spoke with Liz G and she gave me a reference #741528542515. Several months ago I was given a claim #001208073992042, and told in September that the check was in the mail. Our shower wall collapsed on a Saturday as I was showering. We immediately contacted Allstate. They made it clear that if any mold was involved they would find a way to deny the claim. Monday they sent an adjustor out to the house. He made it clear from the moment he stepped foot into the house that he was going to deny the claim. Twice over the phone with out sending anyone over to find the cause or have any factual basis, he told ne he was denying the claim. Once he sent out everyone he could to look at the damage in our bathroom he sent us the official denial. Which took a month. He was rude and arrogant and made it clear from the begining that he didn't have any intentions on our claim getting covered. We have had Allstate ofr over 14 years. This was the first claim we have ever filed. It was DENIED before it was even looked into prety much and the adjustor was awful to deal with. It was a horribe experience. I do not reccomend ALLSTATE to ANYONE!!!!! The plumber and Restoration Specialist that we hired made it clear to us that Allstate by far is the worst insurance company to deal with and to not hold our breath because they would deny our claim. They apparently will do anything in there power to deny a claim!... Read More

I know that I am late on responding to this, but, if your insurance is what they call a HO-3 policy of which is a standard policy across the US. this is covered on page 12 of your insurance policy. Call an attorney or Public Adjuster in your area for positive insurance coverage. Most states have 3 years to reopen any claim. and don't let them tell you any difference.

I have two vehicles and renters insurance through AAA, first issure was when the policy writer excluded my son in advance from being a driver when he wasnt eligible to drived. Once he was he was still excluded, long story short. One he he received his permit we were rear ended and they did nothing. I made calls constantly and finally one week after our accident call me and tell me there was a error by the underwriting and all would now be covered. Now at the time I started this policy I explained that I wanted everything that I was paying for with my past insurance which included roadside assistance. Today I found out when I called for my vehicles flat tire that I have to pay for a separate membership. Will not be renewing in march. Cross your T's and dot your I's with AAA!... Read More

I relocated back to Tampa from Georgia where Liberty Mutual was my insurance provider. In the four years that I lived in Georgia I had a great agent rates were very reasonable. I moved back to Florida, well that was not the case with Liberty. My premium went from $185 montly for 3 vehicles to $525 monthly for 3 vehicles. I called my insurance agent with State Farm that I had for 15 years prior to leaving the state, where they insured 2 vehicles for me for $165 a month. Quite a bit of difference - so I quickly changed to State Farm and informed Liberty that I would be cancelling my poliy. I talked with a gentlemen on the phone explained to him the situation and paid the remaining premuim on the phone with my credit card and was told the balance was paid in full. Over the last few days, I have been receiving collection calls at my home for a remaining balance with Liberty Mutal - mind you this happened in October - its' December? There is an outstanding balance of $49.00. I contacted Liberty to find out what this was for where they indicated that it was an outstanding balance due - yes Mrs. Ferguson we see that our agent told you the bill was paid in full but it's not. Liberty Mutual Insured motorist would never be associated with any fraud except to be a victim. Uninsured at fault Motorist crossed centerline hitting head on and injured Insured Mother and child. Driver of other car cited as 100% at fault. Liberty Mutual is our UM carrier and upon discovery of UM due to accident driver insurance cancelled, Liberty advised doctors treating for accident injuries that Liberty was calling back their payments from our PIP coverage citing that Insured requested, when this insured never requested or ever spoke to Liberty. Liberty realized that this was going to be significant medical UM case, and has used multiple excuses to not pay claims while sending letters that we have coverage. Liberty claims they just needs more doctor reports justifying $40,000 in treatments. To date, over $20,000 of $40,000 in medical bills remain unpaid from over a year since accident. Liberty refuses to repair vehicle and offered 20% of damage estimate only after waiting 6 months to respond to damage claim, because this is a UM claim. 3 years ago my 2000 BMW 740 IL instrument cluster for my air conditioning was blinking on and off so I exited the I-95 in order to see what was going on. It was very hot that day and needed the air. As exiting the Highway off the ramp the car began to smoke even more and couple guys in a pick up truck where sitting at the end of the ramp waiting for the light to change as I was and came up with a fire estingusher as I opened the hood to check what is was thaat was smoking. They sprayed for safety and it seemed like it was okay so I continued accross the street to the 7 Eleven cause they had great lighting and the car was still running but the air had turned off. I am only say 4 milea from my house and planned on just driving the unit to my home to exhange for another car. When the light turned green I began heading north on fisk blvd toward my home where another car could be found. I got maybe a 1/2 mile down the road and out of both side of the hood major smoke so I turned around to go back to the 7 Eleven. By the time I turned the car in U turn to sit in front of the 7 Eleven the car was totally in flames burning. I am 57 years of age, and never had an accident like this. I have no points on my License and because I am on disability, can only afford Liability Insurance. I had an accident on the 17th of this month, right after throwing my granddaughter her birthday party at Chuckie Cheese. She turned 5 the next day, plus I had an 11 month old in a car seat, next to her. Had two other children too. I am always careful when having anyone in the car. Anyway, it's been two weeks and two days since the accident, and other than my calling and bugging them, I have heard NOTHING from State Farm. I call my agent, and yes, a few times he did answer or call back, but the last time, I was told to hold on, he was there, then all of a sudden it went to voicemail, and I still haven't heard from him. I know and understand I have no collision, and they have to investigate, but I am without a car. Can not be driven at all. All they have to do is check the cameras that were there. The officer who responded said it would only take about a week. The commercials they show, like LIKE A GOOD NEIGHBOR, STATE FARM IS THERE, is BS. i am not a complainer by no means; but this company is deseptive and does not have a good track record for telling the truth. i have had insurance with them for 2 years and when i received their bill with a big increase/ i noticed that a 3 year old speeding ticket should have been taken off. i contacted a gal named erika and she told me that 134.00 would be taken off the 1888.00 bill and it would be 1754.00. i said ok and when i received the bill----the amount was for 2035.00. i called and said it was because of my age. well; i am 2 weeks older than when i talked with them. i am not finished with them. i used to own a chyslwr dealership and this is no6t my first rodeo. i know a lot of people and i will tell this story a lot. explain it to the bbc. bad business....
