Insurance Complaint against: Express Scripts

If I do not mail my scrip's to express scrip's they penalize me with a fine, I have to mail off for these scripts and it takes 3 weeks to get the medication. Can they do this, is this legal? I sometimes go to Publix and buy my drugs, so I pay a higher price there, and then when Express finds out they also penalize me for not buying from them. My doctor will not allow me to get hydrocodone through the mail, and she only gives me a prescription for 30 days. So I have to get this from Publix. Is this legal?. Help Me Please. Express scrip's wants my doctor to write me out a script for 90 days but she will not. They suggest for me to get two scrip's written for myself, one for 14 days to buy locally and a 90 day to mail for them. My doctor will not do this. It is putting a lot of trouble on her to write 2 scrip's, and its unfair to me to pay twice. Pls advise. And if one of my doctors write me two one for 14 days and one for 90 days it takes to long to get the meds from express and I have no medication for a few days. Thank you... Read More

I have had a 100ft tree in my in-ground pool for 6 weeks now. They have given me 3 adjusters so far. The first one I never got to talk to before they switched me to the next one. The next one gave me a number to fax in my estimates of the damage done. He never got back to me and when I tried to contact him on his cell and at his office, he did not answer. The third one finally came to my house to access the damage and told me only part of the tree is covered for removal, after three agents before him told me that the whole tree removal would be fully covered. The estimates were for around 11,000 dollars which would cover the tree removal, cleaning the pool, damages to the pool and fences. When the adjuster came here, he was very condescending towards me and acted like he was doing me a favor. He did not do any of his homework on my case, as he did not even know the estimates had already been sent 5 weeks prior to his showing up. I tried to tell him and he told me to stop interrupting him and be quiet. I called his manager Peter Heron and he had the same attitude as his adjuster. Accident happened on 11/28/12 at 5:30 PM. Policeman issued a ticket after verifying my license (RENGASWAMY RAMARAJ) in my wife's name (LAKSHMI RAMARAJ) without noticing who involved in the accident ( ticket for a wrong person). Suspected wrong approach of the person who hit my car by SUV (BUICK ENCLAVE) and he was claiming for a high level scratch at his side bumper, no body will believe such a high level scratch caused by a very small car (My car is a small car SUZUKI SX 4 / at very low bumper level sratch and my car had only minimal scratches for $100. He hit my car and broke my bumper and claiming for his old accidents. I went to traffic court on 1/8/13 and told judge that this person hit my car and did not understand who was on the road prior to him (hit with uncontrolled speed. Judge looked at driving records and found no accidents for the past 21 years he cancelled all the points. For claims to contact their individual insurances company. I alrady report this to my company next day of the accident. My company did not contact me for 7 months and suddenly sent a increase premium notice. If you have use GEICO on-line insurance quote, you will be cheated, they will give you a quote and collect your credit card information, and after you have committed the transaction based on the quote, your will get an insurance amount adjustment screen said that this would be the amount you will be charged, and there is no option to back out on the screen, so, I have to call the insurance agent to back out the transaction, in the mean time, they already collect your credit information. This business practice is "CHEATING"!! BE AWARE - GEICO cheat on you even before you become their customer.... Read More

My husband & I have insured our Vehicles & Property through Farmers for over 5 years, just in Nevada. I talked to my agent every month when I called to make our payment. Our conversations were always enjoyable until October 2012 when he aggresively tried to convince us to change my/our Vote For President. He kept me on the phone badgering me for well over an hour. I had friends & family showing up at my house worried because they couldn't reach me (I'm disabled). I was so upset & stressed over having to defend my Vote and his treatment towards me I got quotes and changed carriers the next day! This Agent continued to call for months. I never called him back or answered his messages (I just couldn't) and now he's taking my husband to collections. We were on the same policy. This is Abusive Service and Harrassment.... Read More

Dealing Aggressive Auto insurance out of Texas has been one of the single most horrible experiences I have every had in my life. So many things have been handled in such an unprofessional manner, that honestly I am confused as to how a company like this is actually in business. From the first day of dealing with my claim to now, 7-16-2013(still not finished)I have be treated with such disrespect it unbelievable. I was rear-ended by a Progressive policy holder on June 12, 2013 because she was using her phone and just plowed into me when I stopped at a 3-way stop sign - replying "I thought you were just gonna go." Da - you have to stop at a stop sign! I contacted a local attorney who was willing to accept my case - I received a call from Progressive on the 13th - wanting to settle the claim - I informed Progressive I was retaining an attorney. On the 14th I received another call from another Progressive Rep. who convinced me not to retain an attorney - they would pay my medical bills, fix my car and give me a little for my pain and time. I took my vehicle in on the 19th and Progressive provided a rental vehicle, gave me a check for $1100 and $2500 was approved for my medical care. The Progressive Rep even told that healcare providers no longer accept third-party checks but just to have them call her directly and I shouldn't have any problem - Progressive works with these providers all the time. Needless to say - so this day (July 10, 2013) I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY MEDICAL CARE BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE AN ATTORNEY !!! After six months of paying my insurance with this company (Allstate), to complete payment for the full year. I am now being notified that I have thirty days to pay for a person I DO NOT RESIDE WITH (and have shown proof of this) and no longer speak too. He was involved in an accident in Oct of 2009 (under my insurance plan)over three years ago- which surpasses the time frame for any accidents that have occurred under one's insurance plan by another. After three years I was told I could legally not be penalized for another free willed persons actions there after. When I started my insurance with Allstate I had already surpassed the three year mark, accident occurred Oct 2009; I assumed coverage with Allstate this January 2013. Now at the end of my payment period I am being told that I have to insure this individual whom lives with his parents, (who are also covered by Allstate and who's cars were taken and crashed by the same individual last year, Allstate is not penalizing them!!) at the address of 74 Rosemary in Centereach 11720. By law they have no legal right to ask me to insure an individual whom I've shown proof I do not reside with and whom was involved in an accident over three years ago, under my plan. A complaint to the Department of Insurance is in order here. second Why ALLSTATE? All they want is your premium. Get away as fast as you can. You have to be aware of all of the games that the insurance companies play. Do not go with the big 10 insurance companies. Get the smaller insurance companies with whom actually want your business.

I signed up for medical coverage with cigna; prior to that I had coverage with another company. So I cancelled my coverage in December 2012 and enrolled with cigna Jan 2013. Now cigna is telling me that I have pre-existing clause for one year, months after signing up with them. Per cigna I need continuous coverage for one year, now they will not cover certain medical bills. If I knew that in advanced I would not have cancelled my previous ins.
