the comp. is old american ins.com out of kansas city mo.
we paid the permiun in advance on april 27th 20012. and on june 28 we found a com. that would insure us both for more money and same premun. so we went with them. the agent contacked old home and told them we were going to concell. well in the mean time old home sent a letter to the effect that they wanted to see docomention on the other com. what they were offering. so i felt it was none of there business. so in return they keep taking out my preimun in july and in aug. they over draft my account and i had to pay a overdraft fee. and when i reserach to see what happen i had found out they were still taking the money out. we are on social sercitry and we just barley make it with our income. to have them keep taking our money for two months is unreal. when i called them on it they gave me cocken bull story that they said i was considering it. i ask them to send me back both pream which is 252.00 and some cents they said they felt that i did not derserve both premines so they are only going to sent back one month. i am writing this so it does not happen to other people i fell they took advanage of us old people. i paid the other com. 127.00 a month and inturn paid old home th...

My car was rear ended in an accident recently and the insurance company in Dallas, Old American County Mutual, was the policy holder for the guy who hit me. Well, to file a claim I had to contact their claim handling group called 'The Littleton Group'. The claim handling representative at The Littleton Group agreed that they were responsible and sent an appraiser out to assess the damage. Shortly afterward they said they'd send me a check. It has been 3 months since my accident and no check has ever arrived. As you might expect, they did not respond to my last email asking whatever happened to the payment. I would not recommend anyone purchase a policy from OLD AMERICAN COUNTY MUTUAL....

When calling customer service (That's a misnomer) you get jerked around from one to another and finally get told "we do not know". I have auto, home and a tax shelter annuity through Allstate in New Mexico. My agent is Ray Carrejo, 11819 Menaul NE #A, Albuqerque, New Mexico 87112. Homeowners Policy #9 36 243044 06/01, Vehicle Insurance Policy #9 29 988400 12/02, Annuity LBF1168351, Approximately 2 weeks ago,requested a copy of my annuity. He made a copy of this document and gave it to my mother and proceeded to inform her that I had spent all of her money since, this policy is money that I manage for my elderly mother. He also proceeded to call another of my brother's and stated that I had ripped off $150,000 of my mother's money. This is totally inappropriate conduct of Mr. Carrejo's since he has no business giving information to anyone about my documents. As far as he should be concerned, and legally he has no jurisdiction as to whose money is in the account. Officially the money is in money in my name and has been since 2005 since I bought this annuity. He is in breach of confidentially and I intend to persue this matter legally....

I had two properties insured by citizens and have been canceled by both. It appears nothing I could do to stop these cancellation.
The property at 1359 has had 3 inspections and the rate when up after each inspection to $3439.00 which I paid. This is almost double from what it was. When I received another bill for $435.00
I assumed this was a Double billing. Next this I was canceled.
The second property at 118 I was canceled for for a roof. I had a new roof installed on this property in 2007, sent my insurance company a copy of the permit and the roof specfications and was canceled.
At this point I must assume that its all about the money, What do I do now? The banks are putting there own insurance on these properties at 500 times the going rate. Help...

I'm a Senior Citizen and thought that AARP was a company that had Senior Citizens best interest at heart. Boy, was I wrong!
I *HAD* my auto insurance through AARP/Hartford Ins.
I had two cars insured with them, In May of 2012 I called to ad my 24 year old daughter to my policy, the quote I got was $124.00 per month automatically taken out of my account. The first bill I received with my daughter on my policy, was almost $300.00, more than double what they had quoted me. I did not get this bill until almost 45 days after I requested this change on my policy. No one called to inform me that having her on my account would make this much difference in my monthly payment. Had I been informed of this increase I would have told them not to ad her to my account.
Companies that deal with Senior Citizens need to be more diligent in informing seniors of changes that can affect them financially. I'm on a limited income as are most seniors and being forced to pay for something I would have denied had I been given a courtesy call, is a travesty. AARP/Hartford Ins. is a company I will never do business with again. Dealing with their billing dept. was a joke; nobody there had the same explanation or would let me talk, every...

was written a auto policy for full coverage they took the first payment out of my bank called the next day and canceled the policy wouldnt give me a reason . I have had NO claims or Tickets on my driving record nor has my wife. I am still trying to have them credit my bank account. I guess thats the way big companys treat senior citizens....
