called to ask about water damage.elaine in limerick put in i dont know what. this lady brenda grove media pa office calls at 7:45am monday morning took a statment via phone and said claim is denied,never came to the house,she really never bothered to get all the facts. they are the worse insurance co.that is out there.they have a lot of bad reviews on the computer.but they have taken our money with no complaints and this brenda grove i hope noone has to have her.(very rude and very unprofessional... I drive a dodge Ram 2500 4x4 club cab, on June 29th was t-boned on drivers side the investigation found it o be 60/40 split not sure how they found that when person who hit me ran a light. I took it to the geico adjuster who just moved here from the south, needed rear quarter panel replaced doors fixed and custom steps replaced as were on truck when purchased. he gave repair costs at 1800,told him at the time that was low, he said take it in(they have a desk in step brothers auto shop, and I would not use them, AK auto trim is by far much better.so my truck repairs are held up(there not covering a rental)due to circumstances beyond my control can't afford one at this time. The adjuster has to go look and then o.k the added expense need truck for work, about ready to lose job over this yes, my truck still in shop pretty much all fixed with this exception. I think insurance companies in general are a rip off and this goes to prove my point, use them your rates get raised mine did kind of laughable as truck still in shop(took while to get parts so truck went in august 1st,2013)have filed with AK state as well.... my 19 year old daughters vehicle rear ended another vehicle. she had pretty extensive damage to the front end. upon going to darlings automotive for repairs we were told everything under the sun they said they would do to her vehicle to fix it, that was all a lie, 3 times my daughter had her vehicle in an out of this dealership, the first paint job looked like a 5 year old child tried his or her first paint job, when my daughter arived home on the first time she picked up her car, i could see the paint runs in the middle of the nite thats how bad it was. her car went back 2 more times before they could get it decent. 3 months after getting her car back her radiator we noticed was leaking, due to the incompitant dealers repaired we took the vehicle else where to have the radiator change. we also noticed her a.c. did not work anymore due to the accident. it worked great before the accident but never has since the crash, we then took her car to have the a.c. looked at to see what the problem is. the auto tech asked was this car in a head on collision? because two of the a.c. lines where bent an the a.c. condensor is leaking. needless to say we are now fighting geico to fix this, there saying they cant find the same leaks our mechanic... I am a long time State Farm customer. Until The unfortunate hit of super storm Sandy. Then I had a small fire that same year. I have been with this company State farm for over 10 years. I can't believe that State Farm dropped me just because I had two insurance claims that one was out of my control,( The storm Sandy.) The next claim was unfortunately a Fire in my home that thank Goodness did not take my Family, friends or my Life. The family had enough sense to try to put it out and get the fire department to help. I am a Married wife of 21years mother of three with two pets. A dog and a Cat. I have three beautiful daughters who range in the ages 11,15,18. I am very happy with there choices and education paths. with that said I want to make clear I do not want controversy in my life and try to keep a calm life. I guess Insurance companies don't care about that. My insurance ALLSTATE Dropped me. They sent me a letter that they dropping me because of my claims. I need help!!!... Read More

The state u live in offers homeowners insurance policies, A. H. Baker does this in Washington, DC, you probable can get your homeowners policy with the state were u live!

I was with State Farm Ins for a lot of years. I decided to change to see if I could do better on my premium. Went online and filled out an app for Geico. State Farm was raising my premium to 1200/year. Geico came in at 800/year which was a big difference. I also got my daughter and her mother in law to change from allstate to geico. After they sent me my policy for 77/month and took 81 dollars out of my checking account they changed my policy to 1600/yr or 149/month. What I found out was they said because I was hit in the back by Lacy Limo when I was stopped for a light. This accident was not my fault and lacy limos ins paid to fix my car I do not think this is fair, what alternative do I have. Please help me.... Read More

I have to keep working past 65 and my health insurance is asking me to sign up for medicare part A/B so they can cover 20% and let medicare pay 80% this will cost me $128.mo.for the medicare and I get to keep paying the same copay to them that is now covering 100% This is medicare fraud and injustice to people working over 65.... Citizens insurance denied my claim due to a leaking pipe.Citizens insurance letter of denial claimed a 14 day exclusion.Two years later, checking accounts,saving accounts,money market and 30,000 out of my 401 k.The way citizens handled my claim just wasn't satisfactory it was downright evil!Basically citizens insurance is not insurance at all? Citiizens insurance is basically a state run ponzi scheme!This insurance company had no morals from start to finish and citizens insurance never really intends to pay any claim!From my public adjuster which later i found out worked for eleven years for citizens insurance!If you decide to go with citizens insurance, Good luck?Prepare to be be bankrupt and homeless!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I broke my ankle March 24,2013. I had surgery on April 1, 2013, the Hartford Insurance company had a 2week waiting period, paid me for 9 days (April 7 to April 16). The adjuster stated since I sat at a desk I could return to work on April 17,2013. I could not even leave my own house, drive or go to the kitchen to fix myself something to eat. Subsequently I did return to work 4 months later (in much PAIN), now my job is in jeopardy due to the fact I have difficulty in my performance, about to be evicted, could not complete physical therapy (no income for copay)and have exhausted my small savings.
