On 08-06-2013 I was driving on a 3 lane road in the lane closest to the median, a girl in a Honda was in the lane next to me (center lane), she darted in my lane to make a left turn and stopped (about a car length), it was raining and although I braked right away I was unable to avoid hitting her. There was a turn lane there, but she never used it, she was past that point in the road. I hit her around the center to somewhere on the passenger side of her bumper with my driver side headlight area, as she was not totally in my lane, she was stopped at an angle, her left side angled toward the turn opening. Once I pulled into the vacant lot that was at that turn area, I got out and asked her what she was doing, her reply was "I looked over my shoulder and I did not see you." The police came and they told her it was her fault. Unfortunately because the damage was less than $1500 they do not have to do a police report. When I got home, I received a call from my insurance company, where she was trying to file a claim against me. When my insurance company took my statement a few days later, I received a call the same day telling me they denied her claim. I went out on FMLA on May 17, 2013. I got a call from the insurance agent with information on my short term disability benefits. I have been paying on this supplemental short term disability for 14 years. My doctors have been faxing medical records and it seemed as though, every time colonial got info of another doctor I was being referred to, they'd insist on those records before making any payment. Today is Aug. 14th, 2013 and I received an email from Colonial saying that they sent out a $400 payment this morning which is a far cry from the $1,000. + I'm insured for monthly. I have been getting the run around from them since day 1. My primary illness is low back, hip and leg pain and because my doctor also stated that anxiety and depression are secondary, they are now claiming that depression and anxiety are not covered, thus lowering my benefit. Who wouldn't be depressed or anxious being in so much pain with no medical answers. So, in order to not having to pay the allotment of supplemental disability, they are holding "depression and anxiety" over my head as the primary illness, even though I have the forms that my doctor sent to them with the back, hip and leg pain listed as primary. I bought a new car on 7/25/2013 my agent was closed so the dealership call 800-Allstate, That's where the nightmare begins!
I have been told my old car was taken off the policy it was a trade-in , plates returned to DMV.
But no one can give me a new figure and it's 8/14/2013! they say it because of a cliché in the system...

My problem is severe. I have a mortgage with Citimortgage & homeowners insurance with State Farm Insurance. After a costly disaster caused 100% by the Condo/homeowner up above me I recently tried to give her insurance company (AAA) my State Farm Policy number, only to find out that unbeknownst to me my policy was cancelled in Feb 2011. State Farm refuses to tell me whom or how this was done. How can this be. I absolutely NEVER cancelled my homeowners insurance and furthermore doesn't Citi require my home be covered. Don't insurance companies have to have you sign something in order to cancel such an important policy? How can i possibly find out who did this without my permission?...

Monday, August 12th at 4:30 pm my landline phone rang and caller id showed Allstate. I normally do not answer any telephone solicitation, but I did on this day. I had worked all day and then get this kind of total waste of my time with Allstate's name out in front. The first salesman immediately asked if I would like to save 40 percent from what I was currently paying to insure my 3 cars, 1 motorcycle, and my house. I said why sure, and gave him the year models, body styles, and engine sizes. He then put on another salesman and he asked the same questions that the first person asked so I totally repeated all this information hearing the same sales pitch of saving up to 40 percent from what I was paying with The Hartford. I told him over the phone that he more than likely couldn't get close to what I was currently paying. He said well let me please try and I will definitely call you back within 10 minutes with the price quote. I told him the wife and I were going shopping, but I would wait for his call back. After 30 minutes of waiting I told my wife lets go shopping and I never believed he would call back with a quote because he can't touch the premiums that I pay the Hartford. We had a house fire. We had a very nice person come to the house and assess the damages. We were working with a very nice person whom had approved what needed repaired and our settlement. However, no check in the mail. No return calls when we left messages. Finally getting a hold of someone, we were told the person we were working with no longer works at Safeco. We were given another person to work with whom was difficult to talk to, had to explain everything over, denied the other agents approval, and after 2 1/2 years have not settled on the claim....

Was rear ended by State Farm policy holder, vehicle was repaired.
I wanted to settle my accident case was told my claims adjustor was out, didn't know when he would return to work.
After several months the adjustor contacted me and ask if I was ready to settle informed him I was. Every document I was asked to send in the adjustor inform me it wasn't enough proof. Did not want to pay me for my pain and suffering, hospital bills or stress....

I am Humana Gold Plus (HMO) member. I am a Senior citizen on Medicare. Part of the Prime Care Inland Valley IPA/Center Name. I had a knee replacement operation done by the Gary Orthopedic Group, Pomona Ca. This is part of this (Prime Care Inland Valley) plan. They sent me to a number of laboratories, MRI, X-ray facilities, as pre-op procedure. I am a HMO member. That is all I have for health insurance. Gary Orthopedic sent me to out of HMO facilities without notifying me. I therefore am being charged >$100000 for out of network expenses. Humana told me over the phone that it was not their problem and to negotiate a pay plan on my own. Gary Orthopedic has not replied. THEY TAKE MY MESSAGAE AND WON'T RETURN MY CALLS.
HUMANA GOLD / PRIMECARE INLAND VALLEY ARE LYARS AND NEED TO BE CLOSED DOWN. I HAVE NOT GOT $10000 TO PAY THESE THEIVES. I AM ON MEDICARE AND SSI.
WHAT DO I DO?????????? I FEEL GARY ORTHOPEDIC IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THIS GRIEF. DO I HAVE TO SUE THEM????? HOW?

A State Farm policy holder hit my truck in a parking lot. He failed to notify State Farm, so I did. They claim that they can not accept liability for the damages, until they speak to the policy holder (understandable); however, they are unable to get in touch with the policy holder (not my problem). Now I have a damaged vehicle, and State Farm refused to repair it because they are unable to contact the policy holder. Now I remember why I switched from State Farm to Allstate almost 20 years ago.
Suggestion: DO NOT BUY STATE FARM INSURANCE !!!...

I have been with Humana ins for 3 yrs now through Medicare. I move across the county 2.5 yrs ago and reported changes to Humana. Now almost 2.5 yrs later they cancel my policy and say it was because I supposedly never reported my changes. I have been recieving my bills, monthly reports, and general ads through the mail from them so I know they had all my info in there system. Now they canceled my policy and gave me and the pharmacy the runaround for over an hr, being very rude, and told me that they could not reinstate my policy. I do not know what to do or where to go to fix this problem. Every time I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told NO. Can anyone help me fix this problem as now I don't know how I am going to afford the over $2000 a month in prescriptions I take every month. Tim guertin...
