A State Farm policy holder hit my truck in a parking lot. He failed to notify State Farm, so I did. They claim that they can not accept liability for the damages, until they speak to the policy holder (understandable); however, they are unable to get in touch with the policy holder (not my problem). Now I have a damaged vehicle, and State Farm refused to repair it because they are unable to contact the policy holder. Now I remember why I switched from State Farm to Allstate almost 20 years ago. Insurance Complaint against: Humana

  • General - I feel abused by this company
I have been with Humana ins for 3 yrs now through Medicare. I move across the county 2.5 yrs ago and reported changes to Humana. Now almost 2.5 yrs later they cancel my policy and say it was because I supposedly never reported my changes. I have been recieving my bills, monthly reports, and general ads through the mail from them so I know they had all my info in there system. Now they canceled my policy and gave me and the pharmacy the runaround for over an hr, being very rude, and told me that they could not reinstate my policy. I do not know what to do or where to go to fix this problem. Every time I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told NO. I settled a clam with Progressive Auto Insurance after the adjuster said my car was totaled. I am still waiting for the auto tag to be sent to me. I was told that it was mailed from Miami to my home in Ft. Lauderdale on August 1st. Apparently the postal service is extremely slow or they have lied to me because I personall could walk to Miami and back for it already been a week. When speaking to another aduster today at Progressive, since my adjuster is not available, I was told "just buy another tag" I feel that they are just blowing me off. New tags are very expensive if you do not have one to transfer. Also Progressive has not transfered my title into their name so I am having trouble getting Insurance on the new car that I am buying because they say I still have the old one in my name. I do not want to pay Insurance on (2) cars. This seems crazy to me.... Read More

This is a small problem, but it makes me angry. I got into a accident. I backed into someone. I still think it was not my fault but Allstate didn't want to here it "you backed into someone". I did, but she wasn't behind me when I began backing.She was in a hurry and tried to race around me before I went. My backup warning beep didn't even have time to go off. Anyway, I took my car to be fixed and Allstate gave me a renter car. It was suppose to take 3 days and it took 5. Allstate paid for 4 days because the man that fixed my car called Enterprise and told them the car was ready. He called me and left a message on my recorder at home.I got home after work that day and it was to late to get it. He had my cell # and did not call it. Allstate said the car was ready on the 4th day so they didn't pay for the 5th. Just something little that they can scam their customers with!!!!!!... Read More

Frocks quoted policy good for 25 days at 425.00.When I tried to activate it today,10 days later they said it is no longer available and would be 745.00.Asked for a supervisor but was told sorry to pay or forget it there was nothing they would do.Sounds like bait and switch to me.... Read More

  • General - I feel abused by this company
I applied for Geisenger Insurance (PPO with 0 deductible) and was approved. Sounds great? Not really. The underwriter decided to change the plan I applied for to a PPO with $2500 deductible. Isn't this amazing? I had to refuse the insurance because I cant afford the high deductible if I have to go to the hospital or surgery. called to ask about water damage.elaine in limerick put in i dont know what. this lady brenda grove media pa office calls at 7:45am monday morning took a statment via phone and said claim is denied,never came to the house,she really never bothered to get all the facts. they are the worse insurance co.that is out there.they have a lot of bad reviews on the computer.but they have taken our money with no complaints and this brenda grove i hope noone has to have her.(very rude and very unprofessional... I drive a dodge Ram 2500 4x4 club cab, on June 29th was t-boned on drivers side the investigation found it o be 60/40 split not sure how they found that when person who hit me ran a light. I took it to the geico adjuster who just moved here from the south, needed rear quarter panel replaced doors fixed and custom steps replaced as were on truck when purchased. he gave repair costs at 1800,told him at the time that was low, he said take it in(they have a desk in step brothers auto shop, and I would not use them, AK auto trim is by far much better.so my truck repairs are held up(there not covering a rental)due to circumstances beyond my control can't afford one at this time. The adjuster has to go look and then o.k the added expense need truck for work, about ready to lose job over this yes, my truck still in shop pretty much all fixed with this exception. I think insurance companies in general are a rip off and this goes to prove my point, use them your rates get raised mine did kind of laughable as truck still in shop(took while to get parts so truck went in august 1st,2013)have filed with AK state as well.... my 19 year old daughters vehicle rear ended another vehicle. she had pretty extensive damage to the front end. upon going to darlings automotive for repairs we were told everything under the sun they said they would do to her vehicle to fix it, that was all a lie, 3 times my daughter had her vehicle in an out of this dealership, the first paint job looked like a 5 year old child tried his or her first paint job, when my daughter arived home on the first time she picked up her car, i could see the paint runs in the middle of the nite thats how bad it was. her car went back 2 more times before they could get it decent. 3 months after getting her car back her radiator we noticed was leaking, due to the incompitant dealers repaired we took the vehicle else where to have the radiator change. we also noticed her a.c. did not work anymore due to the accident. it worked great before the accident but never has since the crash, we then took her car to have the a.c. looked at to see what the problem is. the auto tech asked was this car in a head on collision? because two of the a.c. lines where bent an the a.c. condensor is leaking. needless to say we are now fighting geico to fix this, there saying they cant find the same leaks our mechanic...
