I pay in full my insurance premium to tower hill insurance company. This policy run from 10/26/2013 to 10/26/2014. Now they have billed an extra $426.59. I called tower hill insurance and they do not give a good reason they sayed I have to call my agent James P. I have been working to get my health insurance straight since 1/2/14. I called bcbstn this morning and got a hold of someone who said that I am not covered. They show that I filled out a marketplace application and it was for plan P03s and the application number was 151107803. My coverage letter was generated for that plan 12/3 and the premium was $436. I called on 12/23 and told the marketplace I had made a mistake and I needed to change my application and plan. I filled out another application and chose plan P01s. Application I'd was 170374623. I was worried about the two plans and needed to terminate my cobra. I called the marketplace and bcbstn and they confirmed that they saw the new application. I cancelled my cobra and paid my premium for the P01s ahead if time. I have a confirmation number on the payment and call. Call was 133570070 and payment number 106334884 for my new premium of $385.89. I received a package from BCBS with a letter saying my coverage started 1/1/14 on plan p01s dated 12/20/13. Our agency is contracted to receive a flat reimbursement for each nursing visit authorized. UHC continually refuses to pay the contract rate even when a copy of the contract is presented to them. Further UHC will authorize services under "G" codes yet our contract only provides for payment of "S" code billing. This manufactured confusion has cost our agency tens of thousands each year. Our UHC provider representative has acknowledged this but stated it will not change. As a result each invoice that is sent seemingly pays in a different format with different codes...EVEN THOUGH OUR CONTRACT ONLY CALLS FOR "S" CODE BILLING. To date we have been paid with "G" codes, "S"codes and even PPS episode billing. There is no method to the madness other than delaying and denying the payment to the provider who has already delivered the pre-authorized service. The ultimate goal being to delay the claim long enough to go beyond the timely filing guidelines UHC likes to hide behind when stealing money from its providers. UHC manufactures billing delays and glitches to enable them not to pay their providers and when it is identified they refuse to do anything about it. I changed my insurance from just liability to full coverage, not a day after i did that my car got hit while parked. I have 2 witnesses and I called the police and have pictures. They refuse to pay the claim saying they have no proof an accident occurred. Plus questioned why i changed to full coverage. Worse experience of my life, then a guy claiming he was from their fraud department called bullying me and picking on my words talking about i had previous damage, which i did and if you were concerned about it look at the car! They bullyed my witness and me! And ain't paying!... Read More

Allied has forced insurance of my son, onto my insurance because he lives with me. My son had an accident 5 years ago and we transferred him to State Farm Insurance because they offered a lower rate due to the accident. Now Allied has placed him back onto my Allied policy stating he lives with me and they are charging a high rate due to his accident 5 years ago. I believe that insurance follows cars not drivers and he has his own policy and car with State Farm. Can they force me to insure him on my policy. They say that they will drop him from my policy as long as I exempt him from driving my car, but that is a bad idea, because there may at some time be a time when he may have to drive my car and god forbid if there was an accident it would not be covered.... I hit a deer and it severely damaged the front end deployed the air bags. The vehicle ran perfectly prior to the accident. The front end damage was repaired and air bags replaced. When picked up the truck the transmission was slipping and the engine overheated. When the Collision shop came to where we were at, the fluids in the radiator were nearly a gallon low. It turned out the transmission fluids were close to five quarts low. When we got it back the second time. Reverse was clunking into gear and the first to gears were slipping. We took it back and the collision shop took it to 3 different transmission shops who found nothing wrong we were told. The shop Gerry rigged some things and we picked it up again. The truck ran pretty good for a couple of days then the transmission was slipping bad, lurching forward and causing the engine to stall. We, also found that there was a water leak and a transmission fluid leak on the front where the transmissions coolers are located. They say it is fixed again, but we are skeptical. We live from check to check and depend on our insurance for these things. I am a Veteran with health issues. A hip replacement, heart attack and a blood clot in my lung that nearly killed me. I have 2 complaints: 1. I have adult acne and had a prescription from my doctor for a topical medicine called Tretinoin Cream. United Healthcare denied coverage because of my age. They only cover people under 29 years old. Is this age discrimination? 2. My doctor prescribes 40 mg daily of escitalopram. United Healthcare only allows 20 mg a day. My doctor sent approval for 40 mg as is required by United Healthcare. They could not get their system to reconcile the 40 mg in their system. No one from the company called to tell me this and I did not get my medicine as expected. My medicine was 1 week late causing me to have side affects of stomach cramps, depression and headaches. My complaint is that there is no conscience of customer care and the affect on the patient when they don't get their medicine. What if this had been medicine that could have resulted in a fatality? Last year I had the same problem with getting escithaloram, so this is my second experience with the same problem.... Read More
