Kanawha supplemental policy under Humana. Have had a claim with this company for 3 mos. now, have contacted the company several times. Filled out all the paper work required,and yet they just keeping telling me they are working on it. I don't think the company wants to pay on the policy like the representive from Humana told me on the policy. The company is a scam and don't want to live up to their claims.... Read More

Developed Shingles October 2012; United HealthCare, which I had at the time paid every claim, from primary care physician, I had at times 3 appointments per week, and the eye specialist was paid all except one claim which I failed to get prior approval. To the problem - I now have Coventry and they are refusing to pay any of the claims - saying that Shingles was preexisting - I never had Shingles prior to October 2012. It came back or rather never really went away and is in my left eye. I am at a high risk of losing sight in my left eye and this of course concerns me as I am unable to see specialist because I have no money and virtually no insurance coverage. Coventry claims this is pre-existing - coverage switched from UNITED HEALTHCARE to COVENTRY ON 11/01/2012. The total of claims not being paid is now at $977.00. Coventry is concerned that I had no medical coverage from December 1, 2010 - June 1, 2012. (I started at company I am still at on April 23, 2013. I have a 2010 ford focus that does not run right, anymore. I had a front head on collision and they have repaired it twice at collision revision, one of the so called trust shops in their network, and still does not run right. So i was approved to take it to an independent certified ford mechanic. According to the adjuster the mechanic said something is wrong with the air compressor, the adjustor proceeds to confess that he convinced the mechanic that the part in question has already been replaced and therefor new and that therefor is nothing wrong with it so then the mechanic says i don't know then, but something is wrong with the car.... Accident occurred in April 2012. I had 3 or 4 communications with Geico and 1 letter from the other insurance company. They wanted my side of the story, which I gave as well as initiating a counter-claim. Every time i spoke to Geico, the claim handler stated that she had not beam able to contact the other insurance company. Now move forward to April 2013. Geico sends a renewal rate with a surcharge because of an accident. To this point, there is no indication that any action had been taken on either side. There is no payment made. No documented contact. No response to my counter claim. The adjuster never returned my call. I'm a little upset about this.... Read More

Most repulsive song I've ever heard. I'd rhaetr gouge my eyes out than listen to this grating crap noise. Even worse is their motorcycle insurance song trying to emulate some backwoods blues guy. I can't mute the f'ing cacophony fast enough. Never mind the low budget moronic graphics. Makes me hate Geico and their product. The fact that these insurance commercials dominate the airwaves proves the profit margin. The whole insurance industry-what a racket.

my complaint is with LIBERTY MUTUAL AUTO INSURANCE.my 97 bmw was d damaged in a vandalism on feb 2013,and I am still waiting for it to be repaired after 3 different repair dates. the next repair date is set for june 26 2013.this is five months and they say they I cannot have a rental even though I paid the premium for a rental.this is not a fair practice and is a very bad way to do business.need to say I will never do business with them again[neither will anyone I can influence]... We need to take out an ad in the news paper when these insurance company act bad, if they can advertise so can we, we'll make them loose customers, that's how we can get back at them for non[payments} wow! makes me upset!

I finally get employed (part-time) and know that for now my health care benefits are lousy. However they have prescription coverage and the forms are FAR FROM COMPREHENSIVE, no drug formulary, just a brief description like "must be written prescription by doctor, no OTC, and if generic, which ALL of mine, but they are Class II, so what. So you pay $25.00, if brand you pay basically out-of-pocket. I go down to the pharmacy and two of them are controlled, for ADD and Narcolepsy, one was $425, THE OTHER $205. I was pissed off and outraged, and that's putting it mildly. Call this guy to ask why medications I need to actually function, to keep my job are not being paid for. I found what I thought was an online drug formulary but so many of these links are not clear as to whether you are looking at Reliance Standard Life Insurance or something else, like some stupid subsidiary company. Too many links!!!! So the formulary has this Tier 1, 2, 3. Brand name obviously is Tier 3 BUT THE FRICKIN' EXACT SAME DRUGS ARE LISTED BOTH BRAND AND GENERIC, GENERIC FALLING UNDER TIER 1. In the state of MA, insurance companies are basically required to waive deductibles for auto glass. I don't know the official terminology, but it boils down to the fact that if you have comprehensive coverage, not a penny should come out of pocket for auto glass and no surcharges or additional fees should be added to the policy because glass is "no fault". Well progressive does not operate by this rule. I have comprehensive coverage but they won't cover my windshield replacement. I have gotten different answers from different people, but I've been told 1) you have to purchase special glass coverage to get no deductible 2) it would be free to repair glass, but not replace 3) there is no provision to separate glass from any other claim. 1) If progressive is using some additional coverage to comply with MA law, they should be required to ask you when you start a policy if you want that additional coverage. They did not ask me. 2) According to all of my research and discussions with other insurance companies and repair places and dealerships there should be no distinction between repair and replace. 3) That's just not true. I ATTENDED A WEDDING IN OKLAHOMA FOR MY NEICE , WHEN I RETURNED TO MY TRUCK I FOUND SOMEONE HAD BACKED INTO THE L/F BUMPER AND I HAD A DENT IN MY D/S DOOR AND A SCRATCH IN MY D/S REAR DOOR . SO WHEN I RETURNED HOME I FILLED A CLAIM , HIT N RUN CLAIM SINCE THERE WERE NO WITNESSES TO THE ACCIDENT . FARMERS RECOMENDED A BODY SHOP THAT WAS A PREFERED VENDOR OR REPAIR FACILITY OR CERTIFIED BY FARMERS , I TOOK MY TRUCK TO THEM THEY WROTE IT UP FOR 1900 DOLLARS FOR REPAIRS AND I WOULD HAVE A 250 $ DEDUCTABLE .NO PROBLEM GET ME A RENTAL CAR AND LETS DO IT , 7 DAYS LATER THE BODY SHOP CALLED , AND SAID I AM SORRY BUT FARMERS IS NOW DENYING YOUR CLAIM , THEY SAID IT MUST HAVE BEEN OLD DAMMAGE OR TWO ACCIDENTS BECAUSE THERE WAS MORE THEN ONE DENT , I TOLD THEM IT HAPPENED AT ONE TIME OR ONE NIGHT AND THATS ALL I KNOW , WELL THEY FORCED ME INTO A SECOND CLAIM EVEN THOUGH THE WORK WAS ALLREADY DONE AT THE BODY SHOP OR I COULD NOT GET MY TRUCK , AND THEY WOULD STOP PAYING FOR MY RENTAL . I got a call from a gentleman named Carlos Garcia who's phone number is 877-357-5692 ext 7491 who works at a company called Consumer United. He told me that he was a broker from all different property and casualty companies and gave me a quote from 21st Century. He told me that my payment was going to be $509.00 for 6 months which translated to $80.88 per month. I told him that it was a great quote and I decided to go for it. He told me to give him my information and I did. He also said that the initial payment was going to be $107.22 and then $80.88 and that I was going to get an email to e-sign the policy. This morning I went into the email that I received and could not log in. It said that I had already created an account, so I called. The 21st Century representative told me that I had already created an account and that I had signed for paperless billing, which I never did!!! he asked me to change the password. I did and when I saw the policy payment, it said $107.22 paid and next payment $107.25. I immediately asked for a supervisor and told her the discrepancy in the quote that I received. She informed me that Consumer United was a third party wholesaler and that 21st Century was not responsible. I informed her that I am a ... Read More

progressive is the worst ( THE WORST ) car insurance ever,EVER even you do have a good driving record every six months your premium goes up, and they have the audacity of blaming the state , I've been with them for more than a year, i have a 2002 Chevy with only state requirement with a $1000 Deductible, so for the 11 years old Chevy with 195 thousand miles i am paying $166 every month for now, but in June it will go up to $176 for only PIP. I don't even carry coverage for them to fix my car if i got into in accident,i will have to fix it myself.
