hi, i was driving my car and i took exit from Blet pkwy which is Merrick rd and there is a stop sign i stoped there and looking for clearence and an other car came and hit my car from the back " probbably he wasn't aware from stop sign or may be on the phone " i get out of my car and he goes like Why r u taking too long i told him untill i wont see clear i can't porceed and after that i was about to call Police and he offered me please dont call Police i will fix ur damadge I took all his inofrmation " registeration and insurance information and all possible pictures" and he said tomorrow i will b fixing your car so i said ok, next day when i called him he refuesed to fix my car so i called my insureance company and told him exactly what hapend and insurence company said You dont hv any evidence and the other party is saying u Back up car and hitted him on front however nothing like that happend. he made up all story and fake Witness i also provied Insurance company text messageing in which other person stating " meet me at bodyshop and i hv parts in my car and also asking Why did u call insurance" i did provide all these messages to Geico but they dont want to listen to me and said we can't cover ur collison and we all ready ma...

- General - I feel abused by this company
Because I turned 60 Bluecross upped my insurance $300. per month just for me on top of the outrageous amt I already paid, so I went with another company but leaving my husband on the policy they wouldnt drop me until I proved to them I had other coverage and fill out their proper papers which I did everything they asked then an employee to bluecross said to be sure not to be charged for the month of Jan he was going to cancel my autodraft and then bluecross would send me a bill for the new amnt for my husband and then we start a new draft for the new amnt, sounds easy doesn't it well it wasn't the status dept didnt do their job and bluecross sent me a 3 month bill for $3,000.00 for both of us and if not paid my husband would be cancelled too but he can't get other coverage because of a heart stent. too bad for us and its just wrong I did what they asked when they asked and they didn't do their part and now we are screwed by an insurance company imagine that!...

Have had homeowners policy since purchasing my house in 2005. I had moved from this house to another property a few miles away. I received a call from the insurance agent a few months ago--don't remember exactly when, sometime in September or October, I think--telling me that State Farm does not cover homes that are not occupied by the homeowner. I told them that I was
planning to move back into the house in the near future. They said I would need to prove that I was living there by 12/13/12 or my policy would be cancelled. I moved into the house in the first week of November. They wanted an electric bill showing that my electric usage was increased to prove that I occupied the home. I brought this to the office. Then they said that they really needed 2 months bills, so I took them one that showed 2 months of increased electric usage. Then they said that the underwriters would not re-instate my coverage because my homestead exemption was still on the other house. Meanwhile they cancelled by coverage and notified my mortgage company, so that I

- General - I feel abused by this company
I've had Auto (3 vehicles)and Homeowners insurance through Farmers insurance for over 30 years with no accidents or tickets on my record. Now because of a traffic ticket (not stopping at a stop sign which was hidden in the branches of a tree in another state) my insurance premium has been raised by $400 annually. According to our agent the good driver rating has been removed because of this one incident (which did not cost Farmers a dime). It is infuriating since I pay high premiums for insurance and then when there is one incident as this the rates are increased even more. I think this is an unfair practice and believe me I am shopping around for another insurance company....

I had an accident on Thursday and I was given an adjustor, but first of all the phone number was long distance so everytime I have to call her I have to pay for that! In any case, she has not contacted me even though I was told by the claims department that she "tried to call me" on the day of the accident and did not leave a message. Now, folks, what insurance company adjustor would call and not leave a message! I WAS HERE ALL DAY WAITING FOR HER CALL!! I AM NOT STUPID...SHE DID NOT CALL!! And I have made numerous calls to Nationwide and of course that make all kinds of excuses for her. But they did send two e-mails and one phone message to her....with, of course, no response after 4 days...PEOPLE, NATIONWIDE IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE!!!...

get a better company, or better yet if if ? you can find a competent agent ? he shoild be able to help you. turn in a complaint to the insurance commissioner in your state in writing. the insurance company has to respond. also call a public insurance adjuster and ask him his experiance as to what companies tret the insured decently..
