I had insurance through Farmer's Insurance held by Bristol West Casualty Insurance Company. I had two claims. The first claim is: Policy # G005109511, Claim Unit Number 1022342161-1-1. This is a claim on the theft of my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country. The car was found, the claim was denied unless I went to a deposition before an attorney as the insurance company demanded that I was committing fraud on my own car. The car was put in impound and sold at a loss to me of over $12,000. The second claim is: Policy # 0954731331, Claim Number 8000393422-1-1 on the theft of property from my home at 921 Pine Street, Farmington, MN. The claim was initially denied again because the insurance company was demanding and would not cooperate by giving me the information I needed to process the claim . My mother, Nancy Quaresma, worked with the insurance agency through the HelpPoint Claim Services. She was contacted from someone from HelpPoint. She requested the information from Bristol West Casualty Claims Adjuster for copies of the pictures of the stolen property that she had just taken. I am retired and on Medicare and have a supplement (American Pioneer). I have received two or three statements from United Healthcare. I have called them many times to advise them that the statement is not accurate. I might have had United Healthcare sometime in my working career, but not in the last five years. When I called United to advise them of this error they just said it wasn't important because the statement says "This is not a bill" and there was no coverage. At first I was going to just let this go, but I have recently received another statement. Unfortunately they are not interested in getting to the bottom of the problem. I told them I am concerned about this error because I have excellent credit and don't want an error to influence that credit rating. They said insurance bills do not affect credit. ONCE AGAIN, YOU CAN TELL FROM THAT REMARK THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN GETTING TO THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM FOR ME. Please assist me with this problem. Please call me to get the rest of the information. My complaint is against First Acceptance Insurance Company, Inc. of Nashville TN. Their policy holder backed into my 2012 Nissan Quest Van on November 20, 2012. After the police report was sent to them a series of long delays and unanswered phone calls and emails ensued. I contacted them several times, sending at least 2 copies of the police report they requested but in late January their agent said they did not have such copy so they based their damage claim at 50% of what their free-lance adjuster had compiled. This estimate was less than $200 of which I never received a copy, whereas my estimate from a local paint and body shop was $449 plus the cost of renting a vehicle for the time required to repair my vehicle. I received a check from Acceptance on January 30, 2013, months after the accident which I am not planning to cash until a fair settlement is offered. Their agent claimed I was partially responsible for the accident however the police report contradicts this. It clearly stated I was stationary waiting to merge into traffic and their policy holder backed into my van. I signed up for a dental policey. The monthly payment is taken automaticaly out of my credit card. I notified them that as of Feb. 1st I will be on medicaid and did not need Humana Dental. I have never used this insurance. I was told to write a letter to the Grievances & Appeals. They denied my request and will continue to charge me $12.99 each month through June 2013. I feel this is fraud and would like to get help with this situation.... Read More

Did you try to call credit card an say you no longer approve automatic payment they should stop right away as 4 insurance company i dont know what the policy is but they wont get paid

Insurance Complaint against: Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association

My company changed insurance plans on January 1st 2013. They went with Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL. They started telling us about the plans several months out without any written material. They finally released a guide on line that stated a third party company called Accuview would be handling the plans and information. They gave you a choice of four plans with the best one costing over 750.00 a month. I went with the lesser plan so I could pay my bills and buy food for the family. The problem is this. They put these plans out with individual and family enrollment listed as individual ded/family ded 2,750 5,500 No where in the information does it state that if you take the family coverage that your deductible will be the total family deductible whether its one family member or ten family members. I have had insurance health coverage all of my working career and I have not seen a policy or contract written like this. If this is the case they had an obligation to make sure that everyone understood this. I believe its misrepresentation by omission. On Jan 1, our insurance was cancelled due to three claims that wasn't our fault. On Jan 17, my husband, went in to our local office, which is owned by Deb Dockens, in Reedsport, OR., and signed papers to stop the automatic withdrawal from our account. As of this morning, we are in the negative of $327.60. We called our bank, and they are still trying to get money out of our account. We called the office and our agent is conviently out of the office. They are trying to get our money when we no longer have an account with State Farm, and we have to pay the charges for them taking our money which is not theirs. We had been with them for 17 years and this is how we get treated. My husband and I will never go back to State Farm and we won't recommend them to anyone. We are disabled veterans and we can't afford for someone to do this to us.... Read More

Bought a health/RX/dental/vision program on 1/11/2013 from namemypremium.com (Cory Margetts, 323-271-4698)w/ a 3 tier RX plan that was not honored. I ended up paying $333.18 for three meds that per the plan should've only cost $37.70 total. When confronted w/ the problem, Mr. Margetts said there was a clerical error initially. Later that same week (1/18/13) he said that my premium would go up $35.64 for the same coverage I'd been promised initially at 232.05/month and my new premium would be 267.69. I agreed to pay the added premium though thought it was wrong of them to do that. I also requested a refund of $295.48, the difference of the cost of my prescription and was refused.... Read More

I was insured with GEICO car insurance. At the time I purchased my policy I requested full coverage, along with all the same limits I had with my previous company(Progressive). I have always had full coverage, no matter who I was insured with. However when I was involved in an accident, GEICO told me that I did not have Bodily Injury protection on my policy. When I asked them why(since I did ask for it, and the agent told me I was fully insured), they said that bodily injury was not a part of full coverage. Then they dropped me. Now I am being sued for twice the amount of damages from the other person's insurance company. Although I should have checked my policy, I should have not been lied to, mislead,and then kicked to the curb.... Read More

We are new this year to Florida Blue Blue Cross ppo. We have had 3 perscriptions denied for being too expensive. These same meds were covered without issue from our previous comapany Cigna.It can take weeks to petition these denials. How is this legal?... Read More
