My husband retired from Lozier last June, 2012. Prior to retiring he was covered by BCBS (primary) and APWU (secondary) under my employer. He went to Clocktower Chiropractic Inc at Westroads on several dates between 6/21 to 8/1/12. BCBS paid as primary for the dates before 7/1/12. There was some confusion as to who was primary effective 7/1/12 Medicare or APWU. Finally in October, 2012 it was explained that APWU should be primary since my employer has over 50 employees. In the meantime Medicare paid the claims from 7/1 to 8/1/12 as primary. I submitted copies (faxed and mailed) of the Explanation of Benefits from BCBS and Medicare multiple times and they keep denying these claims because their records indicate he has primary medical insurance with another company (other than Medicare). I have called at least four times and each time I get transferred to their Adjustment Department who promise to finalize the claim within 10 days. The next statement shows the same thing - denied due to other insurance. I need someone to help get this resolved asap as it has been over one year without payment.... Read More

I got into an accident and my "representative" did not seem to care at all. Every time I called all I received was a voicemail and he denied my coverage without even letting me know , I found out through other representatives which were rude and pretty much made me uncomfortable. It's been almost a month since the accident. My car is still not fixed , I lost time from work and it has just made my life much more stressful. I will never use progressive nor do I recommended it. These representatives clearly dislike their job and do not care to help the customer.... Read More

We had home insurance with Allstate for several years. One day I discovered someone roaming around my house and went out to confront the person who was leaving in a car but was too late. The next week, our Allstate agent contacted me and said that one of our storage sheds had bad roof and would either have to be repaired or torn down and that the roof on our house would have to be replaced. The shed was torn down, which took about a week. I contacted the agent and informed him that the shed was torn down and that the roof on our house would be replaced. The next week he called and said that our insurance was being cancelled. He was very rude and disagreeable, which was rathre shocking since we tried to accommodate his requests at our expense. I tried contacting Allstate to report the incident but was unable to explain what had happened. As a result, we can no longer get house insurance since our insurance had been cancelled. Thanks a lot Allstate. May you burn in hell.... Read More

First consider yourself lucky in as much as Allstate didn't want additional money's from you for anything else. Second Allstate Does not care about you only your premiums. There are plenty of companies out there just like them. Or even worse. Like State Farm, and Nationwide, and Farm Bureau and ERIE especially. Third you can get insurance from a lot of different insurance companies. Two of the best that I know of is AMICA (whom I have) or METLIFE The pencil pushers are trying to get ride of people like you. Have you had any Hail or Wind Damage done to your roof within the last 3 years. If so you can make Allstate pay for your new roof. You can always take some close ups of the roof and shingles and e-mail them to me @ info@clearchoicecarolina.com

i bought insurance about 6 months ago on a home in carrollton, numerous problems with home,alot of repairs so i was moving in a little at a rime,first someone plowed into my fence and took out about 30 feet of fence,state farm will not pay for that-then someone kicked in my door,stayed at the house for hours and removed my fuse box and all the wires they could cut,my hvac is damaged all the wires removed-state farm said i did not have the insurance long enough for them to pay out for a claim-and since i wasn't living in the house ar the time-they won't help-none of this was in writing or mentioned to me when i paid the high payment-i do not have the money to repair all that destroyed-no electricity-state farm said they would cancel my policy-i am 63 years old and have no way to repair all this.what can i do?... First have a Public Adjuster look at your policy and look for coverage. If you have what is called a HO-3 policy you should be covered. Second if that does not work out their are plenty of attorney's out there that will take this case on for a percentage of the claim. The attorney will go after bad faith claim handling plus what it actually cost to do the repairs. I do know licensed Public Adjusters in your state. So there should not be a problem for you. Car totaled due to flood, June 13.. Since that time, phone and text go unanswered, at last count, three different 'handlers'.. cincinnati insurance claims adjusters matt koch and chip james, huntersville nc. both used very deceptive practices to deny medical pay out.series of issues include failure to respond,pointing finger of blame on me,claiming to have lost all medical evidence including cat scan,refusal to speak to me after seeking legal advice,telling me to fire attorney and then and only then would he speak to me,assigning case to others who never made contact,giving invalid email,never called me until i finally did fire attorney...within 24 hours of attorney dismissal the claims adjuster called to say it was my fault and there would be no pay out and the case was closed. i am/was furious. this case involved dental surgical error that was clearly established and proven with medical reports/cat scans/personal letter from physicians specifically stating infection was due to dental error... on 8 29 2011 my inground pool was damaged and left unusable it was during hurricane Irene . I have a homeowners insurance policy that was in effect with Safeco it has other structure coverage for up to 10 percent of total house replacement cost about $30000 for the other structures . on 8 30 11 I advised my broker of the pool damage they said I was covered , about 2 hrs later her boss called to tell me Safeco doesn't pay for pools nomatter what. I said the policy covers the pool and showed him the policy he said they wont pay. a little while later Safeco called me to ask what happened I told them when I woke up I found the pool damage they ask what I thought happened I said I don't know you need to send someone to look at it , they said they don't have anyone who was qualified to look at it , a few days later I received a denial letter dated 8 30 2011 because of flood . I have since been in court with them they have changed why the damage occurred 3 times they even sent an engineer to say it was built wrong 25 yrs ago and I hired onewho feels it was wind damage an the pool withstood 25 yrs of weather and that means it was built right . they aretrying to run me out of money inorder to not pay claim so any help I can get or give on ... First of all don't bother with sending a complaint with our NCDOI it will be a waist of time for that as they are in bed with the insurance companies. Second you can send me a copy of your declaration page and I will have one of my Public Adjusters look into which section of your policy it is covered. Next in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes 58 you can re-open any claim up to 3 years. I have at least 5 files against SAFECO now. send any comment to info@clearchoicecarolina.com

I have had State Farm since I was 16 first driveing had my first auto claim with them because I was on my was home from work on 10/24/12 around 9 or 9:30AM had a green light just driving nomal through when all at once this crazy women driving a 4x4 pickup with a load of shinges in the bed of truck comes out of no where and head me about 55 or 60 MPH and almost killed me. After spinning my dodge carvan completely around in the road and left me in a great deal of pain and fear. I now just went into insurance 2 days ago. And was informed that my own husband had cancel my auto insurance to just having compenhension I informed the 2 girls in the office they could not possible of been my husband because why would he or I cancel my auto insurance or change it to having just compension. I am so hurt to thing that they treated me badly. I thought that at least everyone had 30 or 60 day coverage reguardless I am so upset and just ask them to back date coverage a week or so and was inform by my own agent could he could now do that...
