Insurance Complaint against: USAA

I filed a short term disability claim with USA Life in July originally for back pain subsequent testing showed i had 3 golf ball size tumors on my kidney which they had to remove my kidney pathology reports showed the tumors to be cancerous SALIne denied my claim stating that i had been in a accident a few years back and was recent king ongoing treatment for the back pain and denied my claim as preexisting i refined my claim for review it took 10 days to pick of my certified mail and sign for it and another. 45 days for them to again deny my claim stating that i was taken off work for back pain that was preexisting even though customer service was told that testing and my orthodox doctor had found the tumors and referred me to the specialist and even that back pain is a symptom... I filed a disability claim with Allstate back in July of 2012. However, the company approved my claim and constantly kept requesting my medical records in order to issue my disability checks every month. In January of 2013, the company denied my claim for continued disability payments stating that my medical file was sent for a independent review by a team of there doctors to denied my claim. I reported Allstate to the NYS department of financial services because I know that the company is using illegal tactics to denied my claim. I now was involved in a auto crash as of February 1, 2013 and at this time I requested that the insurance company continue to pay out on my claim because I couldn't work due to me having new injuries onto of old injuries. The insurance company took my original claim for disability and turned it into a accident claim. The company requested my medical records from my auto crash and denied my continue disability based off information that had nothing to do with my original claim. Allstate been telling stories to denied my claim and as of December 2, 2013 they owe me $9000 and are refusing to pay what's owed to me. I had an accident on June 22, 2013, my carrier was Progressive the other company was Farm Bureau when the other insurance company stalled on paying the claim and tried to tell me that I should go through my Insurance. Progressive rung their hands, shrugged there shoulders and did nothing. My Insurance in the past with other companies would have stepped in for a client not Progressive. I have no idea what they would do I they had to pay but they have not supported their client on a claim to another company .... Read More

I had car accident June 22, 2013 an Client of Farmer Bureau Made a left turn in on coming traffic, ME. The non-adjuster contacted me once and gave me the claim number a week later. The police report showed that her client was at fault. Seven weeks later when I had not been contacted regarding repairs to my car or medical expense or my lost work, I was told that I was going through my Insurance as though TN was a no fault state, it is not. They have paid for the repair to my car but have told the doctor they need more information from me. They have not contacted regarding that information. As to my lost wages and pain and suffering I have been told that I need to get a form they wont send and have my employer, main office in Pakestain complete to prove I have a job. They have no interest in settling this claim and I guess I may have to file against the other drive to get a small claim, to the insurance company, I only missed two weeks work, setttled....   • General - I feel abused by this company
Farmers is terrible. I have been a loyal customer for 28 years 10 years on condo insurance and 18 years on my home. I have been recently increased from $1850 to $4630 without having a claim. NOTHING has changed about my house and there have been no fires, claims or change in the house. When I first learned of the change, I called the office of my agent Andy Yee and was told that it was probably a mistake. I was told that someone would write me back. NO ONE ever called back. I received the bill without explanation. This is POOR customer service and Farmers has certainly made money off me with my home insurance. I also have 2 cars and umbrella liability coverage with them. There is NO LOYALTY to customers and very poor service. I have canceled my policies and reported this to consumer reports as well as other agencies that rate insurance. TERRIBLE SERVICE and would never use Farmers again.... Read More

I had an auto accident and have been getting reimbursed for my prescriptions due the accident. Even after Walgreens faxes the info over to the person handling my claim, Angela Murphy, or Karen Calis, I still don't get the checks. When I call to check on when they are sending the payment, they have all kinds of excuses why the check hasn't been sent. Its the same info month after month and they still hold off on sending the payments! What can I do before I have to get a lawyer?... Read More

Almost 2 years ago i got into an accident with another vehicle i was coming out a Walgreen turning left and i didn't see this other car coming straight and i hit her we exchanged information and she said they would be in contact with me. I then went to police station to report everything they said if there was no injury to a person then there doesn't have to be a report. The next day i went to my insurance company MAGNUM INSURANCE which is an agency (at the time i wasn't aware of so) to report the accident gave them all information drew a picture of the accident. They then told me they had everything under control so i left it as is. after a while American Family which is the insurance the lady had called me to also get information which i gave and that was that didn't hear from them again. almost a year later the doorbell rings, it was a police offer telling me i had just been served and gave me a paper. It read that i was to be summoned to court because i failed to pay for the damages of the car. A couple days later my mom took that paper back to magnum to see what they were talking about because our understanding was they had already "took care" of everything they then took the paper made copies and said i didn't have to go to ... I purchased Allstate auto insurance for three vehicles on-line and paid two months in advance. I recieved temporary insurance cards and they said they would send the permanent ones. Instead I got a huge package requesting a ton of information, which I sent in as requested. Weeks later, I hadn't heard a word, so I called the local agent they assigned me on-line. They looked my policy up, told me that I had two more pieces of paperwork to submit, which I immediately faxed in. Weeks later, still no word, other than an e-mail about my next payment due date. The payment was for the amount I had agreed to. Weeks later, a packet arrives. Allstate had dropped my high school daughters car insurance on her vehicle back to the day I had purchased the insurance without any notification...essentially, the car had been uninsured for two months without us knowing it. They then increased my policy going back the two months as well. I cancelled immediately but they are insisting I owe them the increase in the policy, regardless of their absolutely horrible customer service and their complete lack of regard for the law....
