I was hit in the rear by a client of GMAC--I was sitting in traffic at a red light behind other cars when there client came up running about 25 miles per hr and struck me in the rear and knocked me into the car in front of me--there client was charged with the accident & the damage to my car was about $670.00 & GMAC is telling me they will only pay the emergency room but will not pay the rehab center where i had to have 9 treatments but said they will pay the emergency room & anybody thinking about getting coverage with GMAC (DO YOUR HOME WORK) you do not want them--it is purely unreal & emergency room dr. said that i could not go back to work for 2 days but do the contusion to my right knee it had to stay elevated & GMAC said they are only paying the emerg room & my 2 days of lost work---THIS IS TOTALLY UNREAL--... I had planned a trip to CA to visit my daughter with my husband. We bought tickets (Jet Blue) and made reservations at a San Diego hotel. As usual, I bought the travel insurance,Jet Blue offered (44.00) from Global Alliantz. I have 95 year old mother and I previously safeguarded travel investment when travellng to Florida. The travel was to take place on Jan. 6 -16. On December 12 th my mother who was living at her own house became ill and was taken to the hospita.l then to an interim rehab center to gain strength. On Dec 21st she was admitted to a permanent nursing home because ambulation and her eyesight were failing.She was still experiencing some gastric issues that seemingly were under control. She needed emotional support because of this overwhelming change in her living situation. We decided to defer the trip until the Spring and contacted Alliantz which promptly sent out a plethora of paperwork which we supplied evidence:checking account, itinerary, hotel payments, etc.. Because it was a cancellation not involving the principal insuree we were advised to fill out a shorter doctor's form. Citizens Insurance has earned their name, "insurance company of the last resort". The only way they stay in business is because they are owned by the state and most of Florida homeowners are forced to do business with them. They are continuing to raise our premiums while slashing the coverage. While frivilous spending seems to be the norm for their employees. I was in an accident that occured on Janury 20,2013 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I was out of town visiting family in Wisconsin. When the accident occured I notified the police and called my car insurance company to help me. I was told by my insurance company that since it is a Sunday no one can help me. So basically I was left on my own to figure out how I was going to get my car back to Chicago. I was told by my insurance company that I can pay for the towing myself and have the car towed to Chicago and I would be reimbursed $35, then I can look for a body shop when I get to Chicago. Problem is paying for a tow from Milwaukee to Chicago would have been extemely exspensive I needed to get my self home as well. So needless to say I had the car towed to a local shop in Milwaukee and had to pay out of pocket. Since my insurace company refused to help me I was left with little options. The next day I contacted my insurance company and 30 days later I still do not have my car and Direct Auto has yet to help me of even advise me on when I can have my car back. It has been a nightmare dealing with this company. Yes the insurance is chep but you will pay in the long run. I stongly advise that anyone looking for insurnace look for a reputable ... Read More

My almost 80 year old Grandmother has a doublewide insured with AMERICAN BANKERS LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY OF FLORIDA which is administered by HOME FIRST AGENCY Inc. In January her furnace caught on fire. The fire department arrived and put out the fire with a water can. No major damage, just to the furnace. They have denied the claim. The first reason they gave my Grandmother was dust on the unit. However, it was worked on by 2 different companies in the 2 months leading up to the fire and was working fine. My Mom just got a new filter at Lowe’s before Christmas. We sent them a receipt by one of the companies that worked on it. And offered to find the Lowes receipt or call Lowes to see if they could get it for us. This didn’t work so the second reason they gave my Grandmother was water damage. We pointed them to the fire report that stated it was put out with a water can. When this didn’t work, the third reason they gave was; the fire was considered electric and the policy didn’t cover it. YES I’M SERIOUS! I am completely amazed. There has been no heat in this house since the fire, and it is only a $1500 repair!!! This insurance company was not chosen by my Grandmother. Went to infinity to get car insurance, i informed the broker that my spouse was in the process of getting a California drivers licence and that i had 15 years driving in California. NO PROBLEM SHE SAID ,after completing registration for a $ 84.00 dll. monthly payment. $ 300 dwnpay. At the Start of the 3RD week i got a package from infinity informing me that they made changes , the premium went up to $113 dlls a month. Thats more than $300 a year, change without notice. By the end of the same week my spouse presented her new California drivers licence but they still charged the amount of $113. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO CUSTOMER SERVICE? I WANT TO CANCELL THIS CONTRACT AND GET ALL MY MONEY BACK COUSE THEY CHANGED A CONTRACT WITHOUT THE CUSTOMER APPROVAL, I THINK THAT IS FRAUD. I NEED HELP TO MAKE THEM RESPECT CUSTOMERS. Humana is trying to bill me for their mistake caused by their telesales agent. My wife and I both took out a policy of 0 premium at the same time and she got the 0 premium and I got the monthly premium cost which I never ever agreed to. They are now trying to charge me with a bill of $960.00 which I don't own and making me pay this back premium. I caught this error when I did not receive my renewal card until this time I no indication of their mistake at all. I feel that they should be held accountable for their mistakes and try to correct this error They are not in agreement with me at all, they are trying to cover up their mistakes and make me pay for their telesales agent mistake. I feel Humana is totaly being dishonet about this whole thing . They tell me I would be contacted in a few days and it took them over a month to even send me a letter concerning my complaint. I can never talk to a manager or any one in authority it is always customer service . I have asked for them to call me in person to discuss this and to try to work something out but they have not yet done so and it has been over 2 months and no call back. My home was burglarized in August of 2011. Several thousand dollars worth of fishing tackle and tools were taken. I am an AVID fisherman and tackle collector and own over 200 fishing rods and thousands of lures and accessories. At one time I offered, through my local agent, to purchase a "Rider" on my fishing tackle, since I own more than most sporting goods dealers. My agent and State Farm told me that it would not be necessary, all of my tackle and equiptment would be fully covered in the event of fire or theft. After the theft, I was treated like a criminal. I was harrassed and lied to, and it took over 3 months to settle the claim. State Farm depreciated my tackle far beyond what they should have and denied paying for $10 in shipping costs. Here is a run down of recent events. August 27, 2011….. Home burglary August 27, 2011…... Called police/PA State Police Responded a. Police took a report b. Police did little investigation c. My wife hit a pole in parking lot no officer was called or wasn't another vehicle involved ,just her vehicle ,the insurance company was called by aggent I carried too one of their repair shops ,bill was over $3000.00 I paid my $500.00 ,it was her first accident in over 40 years never had a ticket,but my insurance has over double. I knew it would go up some cause I got a ne truck.First new bill with new truck was $774.00 then I got another bill stating it would be $1279.00 over $500.00 every 6 months ,this for three years ,I'd been better off too have just fixed it myself if I got too pay for it anyway.This makes me wonder why we even have collison insure,person still has too pay it,insurance companies are just getting over on everyone ,their not loosing any money ,I guess their the ones getting rich ,cause their not loosing at all....
