had roof inspected in 2010 by our agents choice of contractors, there was no damage roof was in good shape. recently had it reinspected by our choice of contractors and there is wind and hail damage, so we filed a claim with statefarm. there is also inside damge to ceilings and a exterior wall, which they agreed to pay for, but refuse to pay for a new roof. the whole claim has been filed with better business bureau case #19032713. the adjuster along with his district rep are very rude. we have been a customer with this company for over 13 yrs and have no interest in their customers, trying to help or to keep them as a customer do not recommend this company as a insurance choice... I 'been with Allstate for over twenty years and never had a claim, not had a traffic violation in over 35 years and my Insurance premium still goes up every six month. When I inquire My agent tells me Allstate had to many climes and everyone have to pay more to make up for it. I have a very good driving record, so why do I have to pay for other peoples poor driving. Incidentally to receive a bonus check every six month you don't have an oxidant is not truth . I use to get it but they stopped it because they put me on the golden plan and you have to be on the Patina plan to get it. They neglect to tell you this on their TV advertisement . .... Read More

I have been out of work since the end of April, going to Dr appointments in May and June, sent in claim paperwork end of June. Was told July 12 Check was sent only to find out on July 15 that they needed more information and I was still in my 30 waiting period, I sent paper work from the Dr to correct dates back to the May 7th date, then they turned around and said that they now need more information from the Dr and sent them a letter. I have now been without a paycheck for 3 months and Colonial life owes me 2 months and counting, I have been through my savings (ran out in June) and currently behind with my rent with rent due again in a week, and now have a 5 day demand because I am late, I have no food in my home to speak of and have not had prescriptions that I need to live in over a month every time I call them they keep telling me they are waiting for the Dr. information, they dont care that I am soon to be homeless starving and dead on the street (maybe that is what they want so they dont have to pay) and promise me a call back that same day (I have yet to get a call) and you can NEVER get the same person on the phone so you cant hold that person accountable, and I have called DAILY since July 12 to try to get some resoluti... I was hit broadside by a another vehicle while rounding a two lane turn. People in the inside lane often drift into the outside lane when making this turn and in my case, this guy was going way too fast and broadsided me when he was unable to maintain his own lane of traffic. All damage to my car was a direct hit broadside on my car, no scraping no sliding, just a deep straight on impact. The other car had all the damage to the right front of his car. My car was hit hard enough to spin me completely around. The insurance company failed to find fault with the other driver and it cost me a $500 deductible. We both had the same insurance and agent. I think they were too lazy to actually look at the photos. I called after over three weeks and they had not even looked at the claim. I will be getting quotes from other companies.... Read More

I claimed loss after discovery by my contractor due to Wind and rain damage from storm sandy. He has been restoring my home for five years when I needed anything repaired. He told me my home sustained storm damage. I was paying for all repairs with photos and did call Fema and Allstate. Fema found 40 thousand dollars damage and Allstate refused my claims We went to mediation after I had estimates for the damage. Then another mediation where after they sent an engineer, after seven other investigators denied any damages. A tarp was on my roof for two months. They refused to allow all the work previously done to maintain the home. They said it was normal wear and tear. I had improvements done to the cost of l50 000, and they said it was normal wear and tear and my home structure was the issue. Everything was done according to them, sub standard. lies, denials, and misrepresentation of the facts.... Read More

I made a payment through western union quick collect before a cancelation date.they dropped my coverage stateing non payment of premium.they recieved the money and still canceled my policy.stateing i will be turned into a collection agency for more money.... Read More

If I do not mail my scrip's to express scrip's they penalize me with a fine, I have to mail off for these scripts and it takes 3 weeks to get the medication. Can they do this, is this legal? I sometimes go to Publix and buy my drugs, so I pay a higher price there, and then when Express finds out they also penalize me for not buying from them. My doctor will not allow me to get hydrocodone through the mail, and she only gives me a prescription for 30 days. So I have to get this from Publix. Is this legal?. Help Me Please. Express scrip's wants my doctor to write me out a script for 90 days but she will not. They suggest for me to get two scrip's written for myself, one for 14 days to buy locally and a 90 day to mail for them. My doctor will not do this. It is putting a lot of trouble on her to write 2 scrip's, and its unfair to me to pay twice. Pls advise. And if one of my doctors write me two one for 14 days and one for 90 days it takes to long to get the meds from express and I have no medication for a few days. Thank you... Read More

I have had a 100ft tree in my in-ground pool for 6 weeks now. They have given me 3 adjusters so far. The first one I never got to talk to before they switched me to the next one. The next one gave me a number to fax in my estimates of the damage done. He never got back to me and when I tried to contact him on his cell and at his office, he did not answer. The third one finally came to my house to access the damage and told me only part of the tree is covered for removal, after three agents before him told me that the whole tree removal would be fully covered. The estimates were for around 11,000 dollars which would cover the tree removal, cleaning the pool, damages to the pool and fences. When the adjuster came here, he was very condescending towards me and acted like he was doing me a favor. He did not do any of his homework on my case, as he did not even know the estimates had already been sent 5 weeks prior to his showing up. I tried to tell him and he told me to stop interrupting him and be quiet. I called his manager Peter Heron and he had the same attitude as his adjuster. Accident happened on 11/28/12 at 5:30 PM. Policeman issued a ticket after verifying my license (RENGASWAMY RAMARAJ) in my wife's name (LAKSHMI RAMARAJ) without noticing who involved in the accident ( ticket for a wrong person). Suspected wrong approach of the person who hit my car by SUV (BUICK ENCLAVE) and he was claiming for a high level scratch at his side bumper, no body will believe such a high level scratch caused by a very small car (My car is a small car SUZUKI SX 4 / at very low bumper level sratch and my car had only minimal scratches for $100. He hit my car and broke my bumper and claiming for his old accidents. I went to traffic court on 1/8/13 and told judge that this person hit my car and did not understand who was on the road prior to him (hit with uncontrolled speed. Judge looked at driving records and found no accidents for the past 21 years he cancelled all the points. For claims to contact their individual insurances company.
