I HAD HAIL DAMAGE ON MY ROOF,VENTS AND FLASHING. FROM A WELL DOCUMENTED TORNADO AND STORM. DOWNERS GROVE,IL TOPS OF MY TREES WHERE RIPPED OFF AND LIMBS STILL LAY IN THE TOPS OF MY TREES. TREES TOOK OUT MY CHAIN LINK FENCE IN WHICH A TREE ALSO FELL DOWN. ALL MY NEIGHBORS HAVE HAD THEIR ROOFS REPLACED BECAUSE OF THE STORM. I HAD SHINGLES RIPPED FROM MY ROOF BECAUSE OF WIND FROM THE TORNADO............ ALLSTATE CLAIMS I DIDN'T HAVE ANY DAMAGE-WHOLE STORM WENT AROUND MY HOUSE AND THE HAIL ONLY HIT MY VENTS,NOT THE SHINGLES! ALLSTATE CLAIMS THE SHINGLES.FLASHING AND VENTS ARE NOT DAMAGED AND EVEN TOOK PICTURES OF THE ROOF WITH THE DAMAGE AND STATES THAT THEIR IS NOT ANY DAMAGE BUT CUTS A CHECK FOR THE TREES TO BE CLEANED UP AND FOR THE FENCE I REPAIRED, AND FOR THE SHINGLES THE WHERE RIPPED OFF THE HOUSE!!!!!! BUT NOT FOR THE WHOLE ROOF THEY ONLY WANT TO PAY ABOUT 1/4 OF WHAT DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE. THEY DRAGGED THEIR FEET WITH PAY OUTS AND CLAIMS TO MAKE YOU THINK THEY ARE WORKING WITH YOU AND THEN TO YOUR SURPRISE IF THE FINE PRINT OF YOUR POLICY, YOU HAVE PASSED YOUR CLAIM TIME. BUT THEY WOULD STILL SEND PEOPLE OUT AND CUT $70.00 CHECKS TO THINK YOUR GETTING SOME PLACE WITH YOUR CLAIM. I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY THIS COMPA... Read More

I have renters insurance through auto owners in Lake City Michigan A main water line broke in my front yard it was on a Sunday an took 5 hours to shut the water off in the meantime must have been hundreds if not thousands of gallons of water running over my basement wall so I called the insurance company in lake city an talked to the agent well he said he had no idea about renters insurance wow you sell renters in insurance and do not know what your selling glad he is not my doctor any way I waited 5 hours an he still did not call me back so I called him he said the traverse city agent was out to lunch oh my out to lunch for 5 hours so I called him back I am told now after paying on this insurance policy with $26,000 coverage for over 10 years its called ground water leakage never heard of this thousands of gallons an called ground water leakage agent said they do cover sewer back up well a sewer back up must to be like catrina the agent said he would send me a copy I said I have my policy here an no mention of that so I called main office in mt pleasant very nice people there but he told me in a nice way I was screwed now I understand when you see all these people on tv with no insurance it sure is a waist you... My rims were stolen off of my car, I filed a claim and Direct treated me as if I was a criminal trying to rip them off and to add insult to injury they only offered $1,000 coverage for rims that cost me $2800.00 radio and tv which was well over $700.00.......I wasnt advised by the Agent to get additional coverage for my vehicle or accessories. I have been waiting over a week to hear from someone abt my claim. Everytime I call I get the run around and no response at all.... Read More

Hi, this is Amy. I am actually Dzhamal's girlfriend, and I am just tired. Of seeing him going through this. The apartment complex where he lived, got on fire (Neighbors)So, his place actually got terrible smoke damage, his furniture, electronics, clothes. Apartment manager told them to move out, because they will be changing the roof and working on appartment. Dzhamal called, left messages, no one called back. Red cross actually got him and his family a hotel. Then insurence got hold of him, later with no call backs untill he actually called the main number and told them this is not right! Well, last week he told his claim worker Michael that he need to have his staff out by Wednesday, which is today. And his claim rep, saying he didn't know about it. So, contacted the cleaning company, and told Dzhamal, because it's a last minute packing/moving it might cost him over 15k, and 15k is only what he got under his policy. Dzhamal didn't want to risk to pay out of pocket, if it will be more then 15k. And agreed to pack evething himself. went to a appointment on aug 15th the weather was pretty bad out of no where the rain started and I turned on my wipers and the tried to crack my windows than lightning hit my car, no wipers no windows no horn,signals etc called my insurance office they told me to take my car to the shop to get a diagnostic ran first to be sure t was lightning, I did called my insurance back and they set me up with a claim number and all. I took my car to the shop to be inspected, it sat there for a week, finally the shop called to express the concern with it being there for this period of time. so I picked it up and returned the rental. mailed all the paperwork to state farm along with the diagnostic they ran on the car along with the paid fee for the service they did per my insurance, only to get a letter stating they denied my claim still having issues with my car no other choice but to write a letter to the department of insurance... I HAVE PAID PREMIUMS TO THIS COMPANY FOR A LONG TIME. I WAS TOLD BY THEM TO IGNORE THE LETTER FROM THE LENDER AND NOW THEY HAVE FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST MY COMPANY IN VIRGINIA. THEY FORWARDED ME AN EMAIL BASCICALLY SAYING THAT I WAS NOT COVERED IN MY ERRORS AND OMISSIONS INSURANCE. I OWN A MORTGAGE COMPANY AND THAT IS WHY I OBTAINED THE INSURANCE, FOR THINGS LIKE THIS.   • General - I feel abused by this company
I have MS and take a medication daily that keeps me healthy but it is also quite expensive, about $4500 per month. It was, until recently, experimental, but I was in the research group and eventually granted use of the med. The medication is not supposed to be stopped suddenly, there are cardiac complications. But Aetna stalls filling it whenever I request. "You need a new prescription." "You need a new prior authorization." "Our pharmacists have to review your prescription." It's a good thing my physician's office is on top of things. Plus they are very kind and provide samples when needed. I have tried to explain to Aetna that I am not supposed to miss doses and that they may be liable for any complications I suffer. To no avail. Whenever I complain to the person on the phone, they get annoyed and say that they are "trying to help". I beg to differ. It seems I never have an issue with copayments for other medications yet for this one Aetna will claim that they did not have a "valid" card on file to pay for it. They use the same card every month! My name is Elizabeth. I own a 2001 ford focus. On June 4th It was parked across the street where I reside. A women hits my car and runs off. I have 2 witnesses that saw what happened. They got the plates of the women and now the women states she never hit my car. The insurance company is jerking me around and now wants to pay only 50 percent of the damages. The collision shop gave me an estimate of $4,326.59 and the insurance company only wants to pay me $800.00. This company knows I have a witness that saw everything. He also contacted the police and waited 2 hours for them to arrive. Unfortunatley, the police did not take down an accident report because they said the car did not belong to the witness. The following day I went to the precint and filed out a MV-104 stating what happened. I am still without a car and need it to get around and go to work.... Read More

I have paid United Healthcare for the past 21 years and 11 months since my late husband died. I have been ONCE to a hospital to have a knee operation because I fell at JFK. I was operated by Dr. Elliot Hershman from Lennox Hill Hospital in New York around ten or twelve years ago. This is the ONLY TIME I have been at a hospital. I go once a year for a check up and maybe three or four times more. I have always been very healthy. y policy is 12/13/1948. Since 2011 United Health care refused to pay my bills stating that I was on disability (INACCURATE) then that I was on MEDICARE(ALSO NOT TRUE) They refused since then to pay my doctor's bills I recall specifically Dr. Steve n Bernstein 923 Fifth Avenue New York City. YHC never paid him, they refused to pay him and I had to pay, and then he dropped me because UHC NEVER PAID HIM. They told me and my assistant that they will not pay because AGAIN I am on disability.....INACCURATE, and i can prove it, and I am willing to go to any doctoir to have a test to prove it, then they again said that I had Part A of medicare INACCURATE ALSO.
