My auto was stolen on May 25th. I called and made a claim on May 25th. The insurance adjuster have not contacted me but once since this claim have taken affect. My rental is have expired and they claim they cannot extend the rental, even thought the dealy was with them. Do not get insurance with this company.... Read More

I had a home invasion a little over a year ago. The guy who broke into my home got $18,000 worth of personal items. The insurance company would not pay me because I had no proof of ownership. They offered to pay for the door about $500 with a $1000 deductible. We caught the guy he spent 90 days in jail he amended taking everything. There was $2500 worth of belongings recovered. He amended taking everything. He has to make 10 thousand dollars. In restitution. The insurance company will not help me out at all.... Read More

There are no BCBS network providers within over 100 miles yet BCBS paid the company a dismal $6500.00 I'm being billed for the difference! I have been a "Valued & Loyal" customer of California Casualty Insurance Company for the past (26) Twenty-Six Years. On Christmas Day 2011. We had our storage shed burglarized and all of my Camping,Fishing, Hunting Gear and Tools etc.Were stolen. I filed a claim online and then I went to my cabin for a few days then I filed the Police Report.I have sent emails,phone messages and letters. The claims agent "Mr.Brian Haggerty & Tom Muncer promised me that they would take care of me! I went through a (4.5) hour legal deposition and my wife (2.5) We have had (Two) Adjusters come out and take pictures of my storage shed and measure it.I am offering a "Large Cash Reward" to have my personal property returned! They are "Shopping for Denial" of my claim at this point.I don't have any pictures of my Sleeping Bag, Fishing Pole or Tackle Box.We suffered a Flood last year and we lost most of our items. The Nevada Insurance Commissioner is a Joke! I pray that perhaps the Fires in Colorado Springs will help these folks understand what is like to suffer! That is apparently their headquarters. I have had State Farm homeowners insurance since November 1989. My premium at that time was about the same as my property taxes, between $600-800 per year. We have not had a lot of claims in 23 years. Our premiums have went up every year until now they are $3144.00 per year. I have the premium drafted every month from my account, $262.00. This is as much as my car payment. Our agent said it is because we are over 5 miles from the fire departmetnt. I clocked it and we are 6 1/2 miles from the fire department. He also said it is because all the claims from the storms from other people, not us. Come on now this is Rome, GA. 1 1/2 miles over the 5 mile limit. At the most it would take 2 more minutes. And we have a log home, which if it did not make a difference in 1989, it should not make a difference now. It is like the insurance companies want to collect but now pay. Not everyone was not hit by the storms. Think about people across the US not filing claims, but paying very high premiums. Is there not something that can be done? What do other people do that are 10 miles or more from the fire department? This is terrible and not right!!!! Please HELP!!!!... Read More

Long story short: Storm damaged the roof. Claim made and paid. During roof repairs, the roof was off and another storm hit causing damage to incur inside of the house. Roofers insurance was to pay, but wanted to investigate and recommended put in claim with homeowners insurance "Travelers". Travelers made inspection, issued a check and serval days cancelled payment on check, as orginal estimate was inaccurate. Eventually, Travelers denied the claim because of faulty repair. Decision to deny the claim was made one week before the denail letter was sent out. Meanwhile, my house is sitting with wet walls!... Read More

I went on vacation to Puerto Rico for two weeks, leaving my son in charge of my three dogs. I cam back to find my house completely torn up. Trash was all over the place, along with dog feces and urine. The carpet was completely ruined and chewed up in high traffic areas. Nationwide said they are not liable to cover this damage and mind you we had only one other small claim in eight years. I have severe fibromyalgia and have mobility trouble. I have rugs and plastic covering the really bad areas and I am unstable with my balance as it is. I believe they are help culpable for this reason. Plus, I only want them to replace the carpet, not replace the tile, clean and paint the walls. I have a hard time cleaning up at times, but I know this Nationwide is not on my side.... Read More

I've had a homeowners ins. policy for 30 years with Allstate and as I've gotten older and my income began to suffer from layoffs and unforseen exspenses I.ve had to reevaluate my expenses with my homeowners ins.policy under review first. I found that I've been paying excessive premiums for 30 years I was sold coverages I didn't need deductables so low that it caused my premiums to continue to grow each year, my ins. premium went from $346 to over $1500 today. With my income in decline my wife unemployed for the last 3 years I sought to change my premium and update my coverages that's when I found out more about what I was paying for. My house is the only dwelling on my property I don't have a garage I've been paying for other dwelling on my property for 30 years I feel I've been overcharge and under represented by my ins. agent for that entire period and want justice or satisfaction from my ins. company and I've filed a complaint with the State Ins. Bureau for a remedy to my situation. Now that understand how minorities are treated when they don't understand what they are buying and aren't explained how the deductables can lower they're premiums and overall cost of ins....
