Attached is a partial copy of a letter that I sent to the Progressive claims department. It accurately describes the situation I found my self in. So for, there response has been non existent. This is undoubtably the worst insurance company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I am writing to you about an accident I had with another vehicle on June 18, 2015. The accident occurred in Hermitage, PA. The Progressive claim number is: 15-3729350. My initial conversations were with Mr. Frank Moore from your claims department. I explained to Mr. Moore that this accident was in no way my fault. I further informed him that the other party involved was arrested at the accident sight for DUI. It is my understanding that when both parties have the same insurance company, that any deductible would be waived. He assured me that this is what would happen. Despite what I told him, I was informed 1-½ months after the accident that I would be found at fault! It is well beyond my comprehension how I could be found at fault when the other party was arrested for DUI. Further, the adjuster now tells me that my deductible will not be waived! Water and wind damage done to my home ! They say it's normal ware and tear ! They have been rude they have called me a liar they say my damage is old damage and just never noticed it ! They denied my claim ! They told me to have a contractor to come out and tarp the hole in my house and the insurance would cover it but it to was not paid total of $200.00 after I filed the claim my monthly payment went up the very next payment went up $22.00 per month the list is just to long to list here... Hello, I am filing this complaint because I was involved in an auto accident in which a state farm policy holder hit my vehicle. I called state Farm the same day to report the claim. Since then I have not be able to reach my claims adjuster. I have left Alessia fossi a few voice messages no return calls so I called on Aug 7th select 0 to speak with another person and I was told that they believe their policy holder got an attorney so they are not able to speak to me. Yesterday Aug 12 I get a letter in the mail dated Aug 3 saying she is trying to contact me. this is not true. I need this claim to be reviewed state farms client was crossing a merging lane to get in to the main road making a left turn I was going straight heading west when I got hit in the driver side quarter panel causing me to spin a few times in the middle of the road. Have been insured by Geico since 2009.....My premiums on 2014 Toyota Camry xle have recently been increased on the premise, that future performance of my Toyota Camry xle, according to new testing procedures, indicate to Geico, potential issues of 'non perforfance'... Will someone explain, how Geico, is now utilizing 'the chrystal ball ' concept to be arbitrary as well as resort to a possible violation of the U.S. constitution, (illegal search and seizure) clause in the 'Bill of Rights') .... In addition, one could point to the 'protection rackets' in the 1900's by gangsters like Al Capone, who demanded monies, or his thugs would cause you business or physical damage......This was referred to as the 'Protection Racket)......Isn't the analogy reasonably acceptable as a form of similar 'forced' removal of monies from Geico Insurance from their insured.....Does Geico know something about the Toyota products that I don't know....If so, aren't they now responsible for what they identify as 'Non-Performances' of all Camry xle vehicles, as well as the entire Toyota product line... I have to constantly call and follow up multiple times to make sure claims are paid. Then I called to find if something was covered and it was, and at first they covered the treatment - now all of a sudden they are reviewing the claims and denying them, saying I needed pre-certification. When I originally called about this therapy to see if it was covered - pre certification was never mentioned. I was put on hold for over ten minutes and then mysteriously hung up on. I have spent countless hours having to follow up on all types of medical claims to make sure they are paid - in a few cases I have been unsuccessful as they refuse to ever fix it and I finally tire of calling them. Completely fed up with this company. Worst insurance company ever. They made tons if money last year by denying many claims that people probably didn't even follow up on.... Read More

I had a hail damage claim on 6/24/2015. Everything went well except when my roofing contractor said my sheathing needed to be graded up to code. I called Allstate to see if I was covered for this which was about $1600 more. After many calls to the claims department, they finally answered the phone. They said that wasn't a part of my policy. I have been with Allstate for over 20 years with 2 minor claims for less than $3000. My rates have increased every year with an increase of about $250 per year in 2015. I tried to contact my agent and I still haven't heard from him. All they want to do is sign up new clients after that your on your own. They know I have an older house so it is inevitable I need code upgrades on a claim. Yes, I am somewhat to blame, but they have never contacted me about anything. Needless to say I have to pay $1600 out of my own pocket. I've been a good customer, they could have at least helped me out. No flexibility whatsoever. I received a quote on a homeowners policy 2 years ago. The quote was very high so I declined and decided to stay with my current insurance company. About 6 months later I started receiving collection notices about a homeowners policy for a home that I no longer lived in. I called the insurance agent and was reassured that it was a glitch and everything was taken care of. I kept receiving harassing letters in the mail and I made contact with the insurance agent a handful of times and he would say everything was fine and there was nothing to worry about. About 18 months after I got the quote on the homeowners policy that I declined, I received a letter from my new mortgage company that said my payment went up over a hundred dollars a month. I was put on forced placement because of the lapse in coverage from my old house. I never had a lapse in coverage, I was never late on a payment, and because I let them run a quote I now have a higher house payment. It's absurd, feels like it should be against the law. I need help. I've done everything I can think of and have received absolutely no help from the person that started the problem. Somebody please help me!... Read More
