i am a diabetic that leaves on a plump and sensor which lets me know when my suger drops, without this i would not wake up in time. this a bad life, i am with medtronics and i am tteated with on kindness, i called them and i wait for bluecross to tell that i need the sensors. today they hurt me so bad i feel like giving up to have to beg for supplies, you would have tolive my life to feel what i feel. maybe it is to late for , i am not going to call anyone else to treated like this. i just hope all new diabetes have a better chance and a happy suppy company and a insurnce that will see there needs. i just had to help all diabetics out their that my prayers be with them. i am just to tired of begging. know need to help me i just wanted to help others have a betterchance... My wife bought a Medicare supplement policy in Nov 1997. We thought that was all she would need since she was on Medicare. Over the years we had regular increases. Her health problems began to increase over the same time. When she turned 65 we neither heard from the agent or the company that she could convert over to a Medicare supplement. All the time thats what we thought we had. Her premiums continued to go up. In June of 2012 I contacted the company to find out why they had become so expensive. As far as she was concerned it didn't matter if we lost our home as long as she had adequate insurance for the health problems she was still having. I finally heard from the company some 6 to 8 weeks later with an offer to convert that policy at her current age. It seems that she had been sold a disability medicare supplement, which the company or the agent should have contacted us about a right to convert over. Never heard from either. The premiums at age 71 were $184.95 with a bank draft. When she turned 65 we were paying $277.95 then for 11 months it was $301.95. that was 2006. 2007 and it went to $313.95 and remained that until that 4th month in 2008 when it went to $325.95. I had a policy with Progressive through a local agent, Aveco in Pooler, Ga. 31322. My fiancee's auto was totaled, he carried Dairyland through the same agent. I live on Moore Ave, Pooler and his address was Sandhill Road in Guyton, Ga. He spends time with me and with his parents. When he cancelled his policy with Dairyland the girl at Aveco said she was going to put him on my policy. He told her he was going to do something else and instructed her not to put him on my policy until she talked with me. Ignoring what he told her she slammed him onto my policy without contacting me. When I became aware of this I changed insurance companies. As far as I was concerned Aveco had broken their contract with me. I got a new carrier within a month, Progressive is threatening to ruin my credit by turning me over to a collection agency.The Progressive collector said that the law requires him to be on my policy. We are talking about $12.00. I was not contacted by my agent to let me know he was added or that I could on list him on my policy as exempt from driving my car. I intend to pay the $12. to protect my credit, but feel that Aveco should reimburse me for their bad business practices.... Read More

we have been notifed by company named FLORIDA PENINSULA INSURANCE COMPANY that our policy will be cancelled on 09/01/2012. This company has given a reason for cancellation of: Your home is ineligible for coverage due to the presence of an ineligible breed of dog. What ever that is. no breed specified nor no reference to same in our policy. This inturn is causing our mortgage company to issue a forclosure notice to us. We are not behind on payments nor have we been late with same.... Read More

WILL VERY SIMPLE YOU TRY TO GET A QUOTE WITH PROGRESSIVE' AND THEY TELL YOU WHAT YOU ARE PAYING ON INSURANCE AND IS ABOUT 30% LESS FROM WHAT THEYRE OFFERING YOU THEY STILL WANT YOU TO GET THEIR INSURANCE, BUT IS NOT TRUTH ABOUT LOWER PAYMENTS THEY HAVE TO MANY COMMERCIAL ON TV AND RADIO AND SPEND TO MUCH MONEY ON THAT AND THEY WANT THE PUBLIC TO PAY FOR IT? Been with Progressive for 15 years (autos, boat and umbrella policy). Submitted a claim in June 2012 for $2900 because one of my boat motors had been vandalized and I needed two heads replaced. They declined the claim even though the marina mechanics attributed the motor failure to the foreign particles in the engine. My crusader 350 engine only had 1080 hours on it and I was told it was normal "wear and tear" by the Progressive investigators who are obviously struggling to justify their existence within the company. My port engine has the same hours and is fine (it did not have the same foreign object diet as the starboard). So, in Progressive's infinite stupidity they denied my $2900 claim. It gets better......I upped my deductable to $1000 last fall so that means Progressive would have only had a $1900 payout. In addition, these "idiot" investigators interviewed two marina service managers and their mechanics, sent the bad engine heads for forenic analysis and came to my home on the river to look at the boat. This foolishness most likely evaporated the $1900 right there! the comp. is old american ins.com out of kansas city mo. we paid the permiun in advance on april 27th 20012. and on june 28 we found a com. that would insure us both for more money and same premun. so we went with them. the agent contacked old home and told them we were going to concell. well in the mean time old home sent a letter to the effect that they wanted to see docomention on the other com. what they were offering. so i felt it was none of there business. so in return they keep taking out my preimun in july and in aug. they over draft my account and i had to pay a overdraft fee. and when i reserach to see what happen i had found out they were still taking the money out. we are on social sercitry and we just barley make it with our income. to have them keep taking our money for two months is unreal. when i called them on it they gave me cocken bull story that they said i was considering it. i ask them to send me back both pream which is 252.00 and some cents they said they felt that i did not derserve both premines so they are only going to sent back one month. i am writing this so it does not happen to other people i fell they took advanage of us old people. i paid the other com. 127.00 a month and inturn paid old home th... My car was rear ended in an accident recently and the insurance company in Dallas, Old American County Mutual, was the policy holder for the guy who hit me. Well, to file a claim I had to contact their claim handling group called 'The Littleton Group'. The claim handling representative at The Littleton Group agreed that they were responsible and sent an appraiser out to assess the damage. Shortly afterward they said they'd send me a check. It has been 3 months since my accident and no check has ever arrived. As you might expect, they did not respond to my last email asking whatever happened to the payment. Left another Company for Humana Medicare, what a horrible experience. When calling customer service (That's a misnomer) you get jerked around from one to another and finally get told "we do not know".
