  • PolicyHolder Service - Denied Access to Services
  • General - I feel abused by this company

I have severe neck and upper back pain due to arthritis for years. My coverage has, up till this year, allowed 2 visits per year to surgical center for epidoral shots which dramatically ease the pai. All of a sudden, and without notice from Horizon BCBS, my pain doctor told me that my policy does not cover surgical center visits but only hospital. My plan is the same, so i called BCBS. They told me that my coverage rolled over and they no longer cover surgical center expenses.

How can they do this? I wanted to change companies but i found out i can not do this till the end of the term. I am stuck with this crappy insurance company that changes the rules without telling you. HELP!!!

My husband had a similar experience with BCBS, but they are denying the epidoral shots claims. He is still allowed to go the the surgical center.
