• Claim Handling - Delays upon Delays

My car was rear ended in an accident recently and the insurance company in Dallas, Old American County Mutual, was the policy holder for the guy who hit me. Well, to file a claim I had to contact their claim handling group called 'The Littleton Group'. The claim handling representative at The Littleton Group agreed that they were responsible and sent an appraiser out to assess the damage. Shortly afterward they said they'd send me a check. It has been 3 months since my accident and no check has ever arrived. As you might expect, they did not respond to my last email asking whatever happened to the payment. I would not recommend anyone purchase a policy from OLD AMERICAN COUNTY MUTUAL.
