  • General - I feel abused by this company

I have to constantly call and follow up multiple times to make sure claims are paid. Then I called to find if something was covered and it was, and at first they covered the treatment - now all of a sudden they are reviewing the claims and denying them, saying I needed pre-certification. When I originally called about this therapy to see if it was covered - pre certification was never mentioned. I was put on hold for over ten minutes and then mysteriously hung up on. I have spent countless hours having to follow up on all types of medical claims to make sure they are paid - in a few cases I have been unsuccessful as they refuse to ever fix it and I finally tire of calling them. Completely fed up with this company. Worst insurance company ever. They made tons if money last year by denying many claims that people probably didn't even follow up on.
