I drive a dodge Ram 2500 4x4 club cab, on June 29th was t-boned on drivers side the investigation found it o be 60/40 split not sure how they found that when person who hit me ran a light. I took it to the geico adjuster who just moved here from the south, needed rear quarter panel replaced doors fixed and custom steps replaced as were on truck when purchased. he gave repair costs at 1800,told him at the time that was low, he said take it in(they have a desk in step brothers auto shop, and I would not use them, AK auto trim is by far much better.so my truck repairs are held up(there not covering a rental)due to circumstances beyond my control can't afford one at this time. The adjuster has to go look and then o.k the added expense need truck for work, about ready to lose job over this yes, my truck still in shop pretty much all fixed with this exception. I think insurance companies in general are a rip off and this goes to prove my point, use them your rates get raised mine did kind of laughable as truck still in shop(took while to get parts so truck went in august 1st,2013)have filed with AK state as well.
