I settled a clam with Progressive Auto Insurance after the adjuster said my car was totaled. I am still waiting for the auto tag to be sent to me. I was told that it was mailed from Miami to my home in Ft. Lauderdale on August 1st. Apparently the postal service is extremely slow or they have lied to me because I personall could walk to Miami and back for it already been a week. When speaking to another aduster today at Progressive, since my adjuster is not available, I was told "just buy another tag" I feel that they are just blowing me off. New tags are very expensive if you do not have one to transfer. Also Progressive has not transfered my title into their name so I am having trouble getting Insurance on the new car that I am buying because they say I still have the old one in my name. I do not want to pay Insurance on (2) cars. This seems crazy to me.
