• General - I feel abused by this company

I had been a client of Travelers Insurance for 15 years. Almost 2 years ago I was given an infraction which increased my premium. Last year Travelers increased it and even though I could have gotten insurance cheaper somewhere else I stuck to them. My insurance renews every year in May. Well I call yesterday regarding possibly lowering my premium and I was shocked to be told that they had dropped me back in May. They said they sent me a letter notifying me which is funny that they send it to an address different than my mailing address. They have my number and they could have at least given me a courtesy call. Now I am stuck paying and extra $500 a year because now I am an uninsured motorized since it has been more than a month. Is this even legal? Insurance companies need to be held accountable for doing this to people. Travelers is aweful and have no consideration for their customers.
