• Claim Handling - Denial of Claim

I was in Puerto Rico for two weeks, leaving my 21 year old son in charge of my house and animals. When I returned the house was destroyed. Animal feces where all over the walls,floor, and carpet. We have had Nationwide for about eight years now, only with one other claim. Typically, Insurance companies want to keep their customers happy. Unfortunately this is not the case with Nationwide. They denied all of the claim. I am disabled and have mobility issues. I have not been able to clean up the carpet. It has been chewed by one of the dogs. The carpet is destroyed. I feel that this is an unfair denial of this claim. I am not very fond of Nationwide and if this does not change, we will change companies.
