• General - I feel abused by this company

Their referral process is in place just so the patient doesn't go to specialists!!!! I had surgery, the first referral expired in December, 2013. The scar did not heal well and the specialist needs to evaluate me again. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET the second referral. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to get somebody alive to call back the primary care doctor, who is the one trying to get the referral. When the PCP calls for help to the EMBLEM HEALTH provider line he is put on eternal hold. There is no way to get in touch with the so call EXECUTIVES of the Board of Directors of EMBLEM HEALTH. This insurance company is a total disgrace!
