I've been with progressive ins for ten years. Never a claim until this month. While on vacation, 2000+ miles from home, I came across a snow storm, while trying to get to safety, I slide off the road and hit a tree. I called in a claim. Progressive responded quickly, but they sent a 20 year old adjuster out to appraise the damage on my rv. His card stated he was a senior adjuster. He admitted he never adjusted a rv before, so he asked me to bring my rv to a shop. I said how? The whole back wall is falling off. He said secure it. While he sat in hos warm truck, he watched me working to secure it in 10 degree below zero temps. I drove it to a shop, they charged me 110.00 for the estimate. I tried to fax toy adjuster, but his fax was not working. After 4 days of calling my adjuster, he finally called back and said " oh, that fax number on my card was for a office we closed down a year ago". This was just one of many tactics to come of how they delay paying.. I submitted the estimate which was 10k+, he said that the estimate was useless and approved 2700.00. And said I would not get reimbursement for estimate. I can go on and on, bottomline, I've learned why progressive spend all our money on advertising, its because they won't pay the claims. Stay away from progressive INS, They are crooks. Ill be psting my story throughout the Internet so others wont get burned like me
