I purchased coverage in April 2013. I was given a policy and an insurance card. In May 2013 I had to have surgery. They requested my medical records after giving me insurance and declined the billings ($80,000) due to taking blood pressure medicine.
They sent me a check in November paying me back my monthly payments, put it in bank. Golden Rule refused it due to the fact I had not signed the back of the check, my bank refused it and sent it back to Golden Rule. After an hour on phone they said they would send another one. It is 12/26/13, just on hold another hour and they are checking into it. This company is terrible.
