Erin's complaint:
October 27, 2013

Insurance Company: GHI
Coverage Type: Health Insurance

  • Claim Handling - Denial of Claim

We brought our son to the emergency room in 2011 for staples on his head. They refuse to pay the $600 doctor bill because they say the doctor was out of network. I don't understand. Who goes to the emergency room and then asks , Oh are you a network provider? This hospital is less than a mile from our house and it is not the first time he has received staples in his head. In 2010 he also received staples in his head , which was covered completely.
