I have a 20 year term life insurance policy underwritten by Farmers Insurance and it has been in place since 2007.All premiums have been paid on time until I received a cancellation letter . It seems I did not receive nor did I get a phone call to say two premiums were not paid. I then called my agent and paid the missing payments asap. I was told it was reinstated and end of story .I then was asked to fill out a health evaluation survey which I did timely and accurately. I have had a heart attack 6 months after the policy went into effect .I then after 3 months was told the policy was under review and may not be reinstated ! I have the policy and documentation to substantiate all payments on my end. Twice I was told after payment was made that the policy was reinstated and I mysteriously received correspondence there after requesting a phone call to answer where my health questionnaire was ? I feel not only that I have not been accurately approached over the premiums as well the handling of the said reinstatement process.
