I broke my ankle March 24,2013. I had surgery on April 1, 2013, the Hartford Insurance company had a 2week waiting period, paid me for 9 days (April 7 to April 16). The adjuster stated since I sat at a desk I could return to work on April 17,2013. I could not even leave my own house, drive or go to the kitchen to fix myself something to eat. Subsequently I did return to work 4 months later (in much PAIN), now my job is in jeopardy due to the fact I have difficulty in my performance, about to be evicted, could not complete physical therapy (no income for copay)and have exhausted my small savings. I am 57 years old and live alone. Is there no compassion?
