Peggy's complaint:
May 30, 2013

Insurance Company: Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company
Coverage Type: Auto/Boat/Motorcycle

  • PolicyHolder Service - Inadequate Service

Nationwide will not send out a monthly statement if an overpayment is made. I have to call the agent to find out why I have not received my monthly statement. The agent informs me that I have a credit, and that Nationwide will not generate a statement until the next payment is due. The fact that I have a credit is INFORMATION I, THE CLIENT, SHOULD HAVE WITHOUT HAVING TO CALL MY AGENT TO FIND OUT. Send me a statement each month showing me where my bill stands, even if I have a credit.

Peggy, You should call your Dept of Insurance on that, it may be their policy but it doesn't sound like proper bookkeeping to us. You should be able to physically see every payment you make in a statement.
