I filed a claim on April 16, 2013 with Colonial Penn Life Insurance and they claimed to have mailed out the claim check on April 17, 2013 and I have yet to receive the check. I called again to inform them that I still had not received the check as of May 8, 2013 and they issued a stop payment against the first check. A check was also issued on May 8, 2013 which was also never received and a stop payment was issued against that check on May 24th. A new check was just issued on May 28, 2013. It has almost been 2 months since I filed the ititail claim and that is a month too long. Something needs to be done to make this company improve its customer service. The company's advertisements need to be pulled because they are making promises to older folks which are not true.
