My husband has had health ins with bcbs for 30 years. I found out this morning after making monthly payments, every month, that my husband's health insurance was cancelled back in Jan 12. He has been without health insurance for 6 months and I am just finding out. Not the first notice or warning that this was going to happen was ever received. I called, got a snippy representative, which is not uncommon with bcbs. This happens each time we have had to call them.

After her obvious impatience with dealing with me, I asked to speak to a supervisor. At this point, she decided to listen to my complaint.

Whether or not we are able to resolve this, remains to be seen. However, a little customer service from this mega giant in the Michigan insurance industry would be welcome.
