on november 27,2012 i was at a red light with my 2yr old in back seat in his carseat an awaiting the light to change..well when the light changed,the driver behind me..came off his brakes and just slammed in the back of me..well i didnt call the police,because i didnt think it was a major accident..so we pulled over and after making sure my son was ok we exchanged imformation..Anyway i called his insurance provider which is Safe auto an reported my claim..well as a result i was off work for 2weeks an because of pain in my lower back/neck/and shoulder..well i faxed all the receipts..paperwork and a copy of my lost wages that the adjuster told me to fax to him..and now he is telling me that its a law stating that if i didnt have insurance at the time of the accident then they can't pay me for my pain and suffering,,that they can only pay me for lost wages and medical..so i want to know if this is true,because a week after the accident he (the adjuster Lee Schaefer)of safe auto insurance called me and tried to settle the claimed by offering me $400 for my pain and suffering,but this was before i went to therapy..i DIDNT ACCEPT OFFER THEN CAUSE WAS OFF WORK AN GOING TO THERAPY.SO WHAT CAN I DO AND IS THAT TRUE WHAT HE SAID OR IS CLAIMING..?
