I had insurance through Farmer's Insurance held by Bristol West Casualty Insurance Company. I had two claims.
The first claim is: Policy # G005109511, Claim Unit Number 1022342161-1-1. This is a claim on the theft of my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country. The car was found, the claim was denied unless I went to a deposition before an attorney as the insurance company demanded that I was committing fraud on my own car. The car was put in impound and sold at a loss to me of over $12,000.
The second claim is: Policy # 0954731331, Claim Number 8000393422-1-1 on the theft of property from my home at 921 Pine Street, Farmington, MN. The claim was initially denied again because the insurance company was demanding and would not cooperate by giving me the information I needed to process the claim . My mother, Nancy Quaresma, worked with the insurance agency through the HelpPoint Claim Services. She was contacted from someone from HelpPoint. She requested the information from Bristol West Casualty Claims Adjuster for copies of the pictures of the stolen property that she had just taken. They refused to provide the information and now refuse to respond to contacts from my mother.
I really need help as the people that both my mother and I have spoken with are abusive and state that I am committing fraudulent claims which are false, defaming of my and my mother's character, and are without merit. When they are asked for information as to where they got this idea, they refuse to provide the source. Police reports were filed on both incidents but seem to hold no weight with this company.
