  • PolicyHolder Service - Delays/No Response

I am retired and on Medicare and have a supplement (American Pioneer). I have received two or three statements from United Healthcare. I have called them many times to advise them that the statement is not accurate. I might have had United Healthcare sometime in my working career, but not in the last five years. When I called United to advise them of this error they just said it wasn't important because the statement says "This is not a bill" and there was no coverage. At first I was going to just let this go, but I have recently received another statement. Unfortunately they are not interested in getting to the bottom of the problem. I told them I am concerned about this error because I have excellent credit and don't want an error to influence that credit rating. They said insurance bills do not affect credit. ONCE AGAIN, YOU CAN TELL FROM THAT REMARK THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN GETTING TO THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM FOR ME.
