I was insured with GEICO car insurance. At the time I purchased my policy I requested full coverage, along with all the same limits I had with my previous company(Progressive). I have always had full coverage, no matter who I was insured with. However when I was involved in an accident, GEICO told me that I did not have Bodily Injury protection on my policy. When I asked them why(since I did ask for it, and the agent told me I was fully insured), they said that bodily injury was not a part of full coverage. Then they dropped me. Now I am being sued for twice the amount of damages from the other person's insurance company. Although I should have checked my policy, I should have not been lied to, mislead,and then kicked to the curb.
