My mother has allstate homeowners as well as car insurance for at least 40 years her house has been paid for over 20,
she is 84 years old. now all of a sudden allstate will not insure her house which has deemed a historical bungalow by the
city of chicago. I work for homeepot and deal with a lot of contractors, come to find out allstate is doing this to alot of people and they are all seniors. So as of 1/1/2013 my mothers homeowners insurance will be cancelled after 40 years wait till wgn, cbs, and abc hear about this.
