I searched for health insurance on line and received a phone call from a woman named Maxine Carter. We discussed coverage and she gave me a quote and followed up w/ an email outlining coverage with the address nphbenefits@yahoo.com which turns out to be an invalid address.
Her agency is listed as Taylor Insurance (according to her email)
and the phone # she supplied is 1-877-539-4442. The voice messaging system sounds legit. but no one ever returns my calls.
This is scary because she asked for a bank acct. # for processing
the first payment.
I am not entirely sure that this complaint is against Aetna but
that is the only company mentioned, as part of the dental plan.
It has been almost 3 weeks since I talked to this woman and have
not received any mailings or other contact since. Contact was made
on Dec. 5, 2012.
