  • Underwriting - Refusal to Insure

I was switch from my Etna insurance company 12/30/2011 to United Health Care. With out my knowledge I stater to get a physical in my local clinic where I used to go when I was insure with Etna. My doctor after the physical recomended a blood test and I proceed to get this blood test always thinking that Etna always covers this type of service. TO my surprice I recieved my first bill from United Health Insurance telling me that because Elmhurst Clinic was not part of thier network my coverage was going to be denied. Wich it was denied and now I am stuck with 100% of the bill and they are refusing to cover Zero percent. This is outraged that I went a whole year paying this insurance company and I am denied even the smallest part of this bill.

I am a senior citizen and I have no way of covering this $1500.00 dollars from this bill.

I need help please. You can write me on my email about my options do demand some type of coverage.
