I am 57 years of age, and never had an accident like this. I have no points on my License and because I am on disability, can only afford Liability Insurance. I had an accident on the 17th of this month, right after throwing my granddaughter her birthday party at Chuckie Cheese. She turned 5 the next day, plus I had an 11 month old in a car seat, next to her. Had two other children too. I am always careful when having anyone in the car. Anyway, it's been two weeks and two days since the accident, and other than my calling and bugging them, I have heard NOTHING from State Farm. I call my agent, and yes, a few times he did answer or call back, but the last time, I was told to hold on, he was there, then all of a sudden it went to voicemail, and I still haven't heard from him. I know and understand I have no collision, and they have to investigate, but I am without a car. Can not be driven at all. All they have to do is check the cameras that were there. The officer who responded said it would only take about a week. The commercials they show, like LIKE A GOOD NEIGHBOR, STATE FARM IS THERE, is BS. They were not there at the scene, and are NOT here for me now, Thank God no one was hurt, but I am a wreck inside. Then I saw another commercial, that used the tune from CHEERS. That is bull too. All I want is, info. I want my car fixed. I have a brain injured son, who is also blind in one eye, and prone to seizures, that I take care of, and the car helps me take better care of him when he needs medical help. Also he has a daughter, that lives far away, and every other weekend, we have to meet her mom at a halfway point to get her. This is putting a big emotional strain on both of us. I know it was the other driver's fault, but the claims department is telling me he hasn't responded to them to give their side. So, does that mean I have to wait forever? I do NOT LIKE the way they are ignoring me, and when this is over, I will be going with my HOME INSURANCE COMPANY. I do not think it is right, that if you do not pay your premium on time, your policy lapses, but they can take their good ole time, BEING A GOOD NEIGHBOR. Lol
