George's complaint:
November 29, 2012

Insurance Company: State Farm Insurance
Coverage Type: Auto/Boat/Motorcycle

  • Claim Handling - Denial of Claim

On November 7, at 6:54 am a vehicle insured by State Farm hit the front of my vehicle. and was given a ticket for "CARELESS" Driving. when i tried to file a claim against State Farm, i was told (after 21 days of waiting) that they deny the liability for the accident, and that i should file a claim to my insurance company which is (progressive), after doing so the agent inform me that i didn't have collision covers, and that i would have to file my claim against State Farm (who receive the ticket). thus, he informed me that he would make a conference call, and he did, and State Farm stated that they would have to see the pictures before they would accept partial liability. one would think that after 21days and receiving the ticket, that they would accept liability. and settle the claim at hand. but i quest that not going to the case in this matter(how long do i have to wait not for the settling of this claim???? thank you.
