Several months ago I took my vehicle off the road. I have decided not to put the money into the repairs required to get it running properly. I have been paying my insurance for six months in advance (taken directly from my bank account every s months) and it was due to be renewed in November. I called on the 1st of November and cancelled the policy. I was told that the money was going to be automaticly deducted on the third but that it would be returned in 5-7 days. I wasn't returned. When I called to inquire why I was told I would be returned in 7-10 business days. It wasn't returned. I again called to find out why and was told it was returned and that the bank put a hold on it. Of course i checked with the bank and was told they didn't receive the money. and since it was supposed to be deposited directly into my account there would not be a hold put on it. I called the insurance company again and was told again the money would be deposited in 7-10 business days. Of course it wasn't. I called the insurance company again today (Nov28)And told them I was going to notify your office and also file a claim against them in Small Claims Court. They again told me the money was deposited and there is probably a hold in it. They juist keep feeding me these lies but will not return my money.
